Very pleased with this flower shop. Our recipient was still doing funeral preparations and was unable to accept the flowers personally, we were contacted and offered a drop off at a different address due to the flowers not being able to be left outside. I found this very considerate and we will be willing to order from this shop in the future. This was our first time ever sending flowers ourselves. Full transparency online website stated 45$ after fees paid 66$ ( I would recommend the shop allowing you to leave the flowers outside especially if we didn't have an alternate location/were ordering for someone from out of town and we weren't able to deliver ourselves, tho I do understand wanting the flowers to be in the proper climate) read more

We ordered an arrangement for a sympathy for our neighbor whose father passed away. We ordered on line a Siprita Dishgarden for $83.99 included same day delivery and taxes. We got notification of delivery with a photo of the plant. It did not look the same as we ordered and did not look like the quality that was shown on the website. We were upset and called and was told that they had to substitute for that plant. We had no idea what we paid for until it was delivered. We will not use Rathbone's again. I love Rathbone's flowers! I have used them for many years. Recently my mother passed away in Bartlesville and they delivered all of the casket pieces, wreaths and additional flowers for us so they could be there on a Saturday afternoon. They completely went above and beyond to help us. The flower arrangements were beautiful and were perfect for what my mom would have wanted. They completely represented her life and her love of flowers. They guided us as to exactly the flowers we should choose that would hold up the longest and then came to the funeral on Monday to ensure that the flowers still looked fresh. I've also used Rathbone's for corsages, floral arrangement delivered to friends, etc. They are truly wonderful to work with and deliver the best products. A delivery of a "Full and Lush" $49.00 arrangement was delivered to my mother's house on a Saturday. The arrangement had fewer stems than just one of the smaller arrangements that was half the cost also delivered that day. But more importantly the blossoms had been cut to remove what I can only guess were browning edges. Imagine a fully blossomed rose that you take a pair of scissors too and cut off the top half of the blossom. That is what we got, well a few of those, the bulk of the arrangement was carnations. I could have gone to Walgreens paid 9.99 and got a far superior arrangement, or I could have gone to the Reasors down the road from Rathbones and purchased a beautiful arrangement for still less then this professional florist. The worst part was they didn't return when they were supposed to, to pick up the arrangement and came unannounced two days later. They never returned messages or calls to discuss the issue. read more

After 1 week called back to ask what happened....was told that they simply forgot to deliver as promised ......had to remind them that I was charged for the flowers and delivery ......their answer......we will be glad to refund......amazing ......if I had not called they would have gladly kept my money......isn't this fraud!!!! read more

My amazing husband tried to surprise me with flowers for my birthday. I had zero idea the flowers were even coming until the lazy delivery guy called my phone and left me a message informing me my flowers were at the front office. (We live in a luxury community with a office). Since when did they stop delivering to front doors? isnt that what we pay for? My husband tried to reach the flower shop but got no answer. The next day, the flower shop called me...yes the NEXT day. The lady didnt seem fazed that these expensive flowers were not delivered to me personally, nor did she seem to care that the flowers were left at the front office over night, nor did she seem to care that it ruined a sweet surprise. She basically said, "are you gonna go to your office and get them?" ummm NO! we paid to have them delivered to my front door if I wanted to pick up my own flowers then I would have saved money on the delivery cost and picked them up. plus WHY would I want old flowers? After speaking with myself and my husband she agreed to deliver fresh flowers immediately and offered a 20% credit on our NEXT purchase. Needless to say, the careless delivery guy just went to our front office and brought me the OLD flowers from the day before, even though we specifically said we did NOT want those. They brought the flowers hours after they promised, and the delivery guy was rude and basically shoved the bouquet in my hands and rushed off. (and to think I was STILL going to tip him). Thankfully, the other surprises my hubby planned for my Birthday went smooth. It is impossible to find good service now days. We use 1-800 flowers often except NOW we specify that we Never want this place again. the ONLY positive thing: the flowers and teddy bear were very pretty but the crappy experience made me not even want to look at them. This place has a lazy, inconsiderate staff and assume that just because people can afford to pay their prices we won't care if we get our FULL dollar's worth. The service is slow, they do not value their consumers, and did not meet our expectations.
