I called there when my brother passed away, as I was told that they had prepared my father's body for his funeral as well. I needed to have them prepare his body, casket and transport to California where we would have his funeral at another Dignity Memorial facility (Rose Hills in Whittier with whom working with was less of a pleasant experience) Anyhow, I cannot recall the name of the man that I worked with in the beginning, however he was very nice and very helpful. But I must rave about Trent Stimpson, who is a funeral director and General Manager. He was everything that you would hope to experience when dealing with the death of a loved one. I had never planned a funeral by myself before, and since my grandparents were paying for it I really wanted it to be nice, but not cost too much. Trent was not only helpful, but went above an beyond to provide me with many different options, and always called me back in a timely manner if he was busy when I called. And I appreciate the fact that when you call there a person ( A KIND ONE AT THAT) always answers, not a machine that takes you to a person that tells you the person you need to talk to is not available then they don't call you back. (That was Rose Hills) But this is about White Mortuary and the excellent service I receive. Trent went as far as to email me just to check in and let me know that he was thinking of me and my family the day of the funeral here is California, after he had already done what he was being paid to do. He just took that extra step in every area. I will say I am very touched by the caring manner that the people at White Mortuary handle their business. Much appreciated, I will always remember this experience as a good one in a bad time. :)) THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!

Parkes Funeral staff and owners are the most insensitive people I've ever dealt with. I've buried…read moreother family members in WA state, Idaho and CA so I do have something to compare. My sister in Twin Falls had to represent our family for my brother and I believe because she is a person of little means their treatment was bigoted. That same attitude carried over to the rest of our family who lived out of state. The receptionist was very rude when those of us out of state would call. She said someone would return our calls. They never answered our questions and they NEVER returned a calls. My brother had a small insurance policy. They showed up at the hospital when family wasn't there. My brother couldn't even talk and they got him to make them the beneficiary. We had a simple cremation and they took $3500 of insurance money. That is more than double what they stated it would be. These people are crooks and cheats. I DO NOT recommend them.
