Worst company that I have ever have had with. I paid these clowns to remove two trees and for a stump removal. they left debris all over the street, did not remove all the stumps on the trees.. Had to call them back out to remove the rest of the stumps so that I could pour concrete for my driveway. not only did they not clean up their mess again, they broke my window in my service van by shooting stump debris from their stump machine. They refuse to call me back and they have made it quite clear that they will not reimburse me for the window. If I could get away with giving them a -5 stars I would!!!!! At 99 cent store a Chico Rash Tree Service truck parked there for over 45 min with 2 dogs inside window cracked alittle dogs panting heavy no water inside had store announce twice for owner to return to car. They finally returned to vehicle stated there not hot it's cool inside. If it's so cool inside then you sit in there for 45 minutes. Dont know how you run your business but your employee new a course in pet care !!!!!! read more

These guys looked straight from a southside oroville meth lab. I was uncomfortable with these tweekers in my yard. They look like they'll steal your bike in a heartbeat. They got the tree cut down. It took many days to get it mostly done. My neighbors were also concerned with these shady characters in their yard during the tree cutting process. They never bothered me or acted unprofessional at least. They will get the job done. Don't let their appearance fool you. Just dont be alarmed when a bunch of them show up at your house. read more

The tree removal was done as expected, but the billing and office issues are a nightmare. There are two people involved in the business, a father son team. The invoice we received has one address so on it, and according to the son it's the wrong one. The check was sent to the address on the invoice, 30 Rash Lane. They told us they had the check, then lost it. Lots of confusion on their part. We have to resend the check, minus a stop payment fee for cancelation of the first check with our bank. We just feel that there is something fishy about the whole deal. read more

I absolutely would not refer anyone to this tree service. Rick, the owner, does not work on the property, but sets up the contract and hires people to work for him. After he makes the financial arrangement, he disappears. I called him at least 10 or more times to finish a job that I had unfortunately prepaid him for. He never returned my calls. When I threatened to write a poor review on Yelp, he did send out a disgruntled employee who did not complete the job. More phone calls from me. I asked him to refund the money for the incomplete work. He again did not return my calls. I believe him to be an untrustworthy person. Do not use these idiots. They left a gigantic section of stump in my yard and deemed it "manageable" Destroyed a section of fence and damaged my shed roof and took to responsibility. Said they would come back to cut up the remaining tree and never came back. There is a two foot high pile of stump shavings in the middle of my yard. These people are unreliable, untrustworthy and incompetent. read more

I wish I could leave zero stars! This company will take your money and not complete the job. They will not answer the phone or return calls. My parents paid to have a tree cut down and removed and all they did was cut it down. Left a huge mess all over the front yard. Do not ever use this company! read more

This company is not reliable. The owner Rick does not make his promises. You should not trust him. Do not pay full amount until you inspect the job. They do not finish the job according to the agreement. I was burn out because I trusted him. If you are from out of town and your property is in Chico, do not trust Rick the owner. I am from the Bay Area, and my rental property is in Chico I thought I was in agreement with them for removal of several trees. My property is in Chico, part of the agreement was to remove the grinding and cleaning. I sent the full payment, When he called me to let me know the job was complete. I trusted him to sent the full payment, Later on I learned from tenant that he left all grinding debris. I contacted him, he said he would remove it. He did not. I called his answering service at least 10 times and l left a message for Rick to call me to find a resolution. He did not return any of the calls. I gave chance to correct the problem, he ignored. I do not like to give review on yelp, but I am so frustred by him not making his propmises according to the contract, and not returning my calls.
