While I, too have voiced certain concerns with the center about my children, I want to also acknowledge how pleased I am with my sons growth and stability in his current class (Blue Horses). Miss Maria and Miss Amanda (admin) have both been extremely supportive and kind about hearing our concerns that we have had in the past, and for that I thank them. But I would be remiss if I didn't acknowledge the amazing job that Miss Haley has done with our son. She has been patient, kind, and extremely supportive of him. I know how challenging most 3 year olds can be, and he is NO exception. But Miss Haley has treated him so fairly and I have seen nothing but growth in him since she has been with Lightbridge. He has learned invaluable life skills about socialization that I would have never been able to teach him at home, and his academic progress has sky-rocketed. You have a very special/professional teacher in Miss Haley and I just want to give her the recognition she deserves. Thank you ALL for creating a safe and nurturing place for my children to learn and grow.

The director Missy called me with the school nurse on speaker advising me that my daughter had been having accidents and that she was a "health hazard". Mind you it was only communicated on one single occasion at pick up that she had an accident. $5200 for the summer for two kids and I have to hear that my toddler is a health hazard. I explained again on the phone that she needs extra time on the potty and was told they were not able to accommodate that and refused to accommodate her. This is a THREE YEAR OLD CHILD. Completely disgusting treatment of my child and an absolutely disgusting approach regarding a pre-schooler's toilet training.

The staff at Kiddie Academy is fantastic. I would recommend the center without reservation. They know their kids as and really care about them as individuals. The teacher to student ratio in practice (on a daily basis) is lower than the publicized ratios, and there is an extra teacher and Assistant Director who lend a helping hand across the rooms, in addition to the Director. The core teachers in both the infant and toddler rooms are caring, loving and create a wonderful environment for the children. My twins are quite attached to their teachers at Kiddie Academy. In the infant room, the teachers helped me transition them to solids, cuddled and gave our daughter lots of 1:1 attention, and worked with their gross motor skills in encouraging crawling, cruising, and walking. In the toddler room, the teachers would plan fun toddler art projects, daily sensory activities, singing/dance in the mornings, circle time for book reading, and would go outside for playtime twice per day. Often it's the people that make a difference, and this is definitely true at Kiddie Academy. The staff, leaders, parents, and other children are what make the center special. It would be very difficult to assess a center without your child actually attending the school. I'm sorry to hear about the previous reviewer's experiences at Kiddie Academy but it doesn't accurately reflect my experiences with Kiddie Academy over the few years in the same rooms.

Oak hill makes sure the student is doing his work and if extra help is needed, they will help. The homework load is a lot , but that's what makes for a smarter student. We love the small classroom size and the student to teacher ratio. The campus is small but very easy to navigate . The security is also top notch and very careful about student safety. Overall we are very happy with Oak hill. We believe the growth of our son is attributed to Oak hill and would highly recommend this school.
