If you don't mind constantly following up, correcting mistakes, and holding a company accountable while paying high prices, this company may work for you. They present themselves as a high-end service and mentioned my project was considered small for them. Unfortunately, there were issues at nearly every phase of the project. Communication between the sales team and the workers seemed inconsistent. Important details we discussed were repeatedly missed or forgotten. The quote was very high, and when I asked several times for it to be explained or revised, the conversations were postponed and the final quote ultimately remained the same. In the end, they did provide a small discount after I raised multiple concerns during the project. Despite measuring, reviewing samples, photos, and confirming my selections, several mistakes occurred: * The wrong color pavers were installed (later corrected). * The gates were built in a different size configuration than requested. * I specifically asked that the side I use to enter be the larger gate so I could roll my trash cans through it, but they installed the gates reversed. * I asked for the gates to open inward into my yard, but they were installed to open outward. * I purchased the exact lock they recommended, yet it was still installed incorrectly. * Pavers were initially not installed inside one of the gates, which created a safety issue when stepping through the entrance. They did eventually come back and agree to fix the missing pavers, but it took several months and multiple reminders. When the repair was finally done, the wrong color pavers were installed again. At that point I decided not to continue pursuing additional corrections and later hired a handyman to fix the gate lock. In the end, the finished product does look good -- the gates are beautiful and the pavers themselves look nice. However, getting there involved a long series of mistakes, corrections, and follow-ups that made the process far more stressful than it should have been for a $23,500 project.

He said that the weak hinge was a problem causing the gate to not be even and that I needed a stronger hinge. The repairmen came by within a few days but an hour early when I may not have been there. He welded the new hinge and the problem was still there. The gate wouldn't close because the space wasn't there. The repairmen said he was only there to weld. He called the company to talk to me about this issue. The company called me and said everything looks good right? It was not. He and the repairman had a long conversation over the phone because he had to be somewhere else. The repairman after checking the closure, stated that a space/hole needed to be cut into the wooden pole to push the metal plate in. He ended up putting in the hole and it does close now. The repairman did really seem to try to fix the gate. Overall 3.5 stars. Positives: The initial service call and repair time was quick. The gate looks fixed and repairman who came out seemed nice and tried to make things right. Negatives: Putting in the new hinge didn't really seem to fix anything and felt like an extra cost still. On the phone, they tried to explain that they have a lot of experience with these gates and that the hinge needed to be replaced. With all that experience, why did they not see this other problem. After they fixed the gate, I then recalled that a different gate company in the past (for a different issue) told me the pole was the problem. Maybe I will use that company in the future instead. The company seems to track reviews closely. I got a call about my review within 15 minutes of posting. They wanted to find out what happened.
