I love this idea because kids especially toddlers have very short attention spans. They did a great job with setting this up. There were toys in the waiting area for the kids to play. Sharon was very nice and organized; she did a great job with the photos and getting my wild child to stay sort of still. The pictures were lovely. As…read moreyou can imagine, newborn photos are always tricky to book because you give the photographer your due date, but you can't actually set a day to book until your baby comes! Sharon was super flexible with the date, due to the fact that she only books a certain number of shoots in a month to allow for the flexibility. In the months leading up to the session, Sharon sent a newborn photo shoot guide that detailed things to remember and plan for ahead of time. This allowed for our family to start thinking about where we wanted to take the photos, what to wear, etc. We knew we had hired a professional who was organized and thought ahead so that we didn't have to be scrambling at the last minute! On the day of the session, Sharon arrived at our house on time and was very laid back about our baby's needs. Although it's typically a 90 minute session, she was extremely patient as we had to work around our baby's schedule to feed/change him. Sharon brought with her tons of professional equipment and props to enhance the look of our photos! She also gave us some advice on what to dress our son in so that the pictures would stay timeless. I was particularly impressed with how prepared Sharon was- down to the smallest, most thoughtful details. For example, she even brought in heater fan so that our son stayed warm and pleasant to work with. She paid attention to our baby and soothed him when needed to get the best photos possible. Sharon was awesome with him! We received our photos within a week through a website, and I cannot say enough how much we love them all! She captured all the details that we want to remember about our son, as well as a few family photos that we will be able to keep forever. One thing that you get with Sharon that you can't get with many other photographers is the digital rights to all photos; she sends the pictures through a website, where you have one month to download the high resolution photos (can be printed up to 16x20, but if you want something larger, you can ask her to send you a larger file). The pictures are not watermarked, and can be printed as many times for as many people as your heart desires! I have seen other photographers charge astronomical prices for digital rights. Sharon is extremely reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to recommend and reuse Sharon Leger Photography. I'll let our photos speak for themselves!
