He starts off with a polite email then quickly escalates if the opposing party does not agree to his "request." Mr. Tandy is very aware of the judicial errors which have occurred in this case but uses it to take advantage of the situation. This is great if you are unethical and only care about winning at any cost. It's not so great for the other person on the other end who has apprised him of the facts of the case and requested consideration. There is none for me, the "opposition," irregardless of the facts. There's a reason the system is called the "Just-ice system," however, Mr. Tandy is anything but. He's merciless, unjust, unfair and aggressive to the extreme. I believe this is unethical and immorall. He's known as "hyper-aggressive" among other attorneys. I can vouch for this. I've been the recipient of quite a bit of it. There are some very strange things happening in this case which shouldn't be. Mr. Tandy is quick to take advantage of every situation to force submission from the opposing party to his "offers." If you want an attorney who will beat the opposition into a pulp, or try, he's a good one to hire. If you care about justice, fairness, civility, morality, ethics and fairness, then find someone else. He gives lawyers a bad - or is that good? - name. From personal experience, now I know why lawyers have such bad reputations.

After working for a judge and several attorneys over the years, I believe I may have encountered one of the most unethical POS in the business, not to mention, he wears no socks with his dress shoes! He was late for every single appointment. He will not return your calls, but only run you in circles charging you for each and every phone call or one sentence email. He vaguely directs you to his secretaries, one who cannot put together a decently grammatical sentence if she tried. The office is in complete ruin and his desk is cluttered beyond any type of organization. The outside of the building is very uninviting and in disrepair. This moron did nothing for me in several month's time except make excuses as to why I couldn't complete my divorce in only the 60 day waiting period when both parties totally agreed. I fired him and did it all myself. Wrote my separation agreement, had it signed and divorce final in just days. Please do not go here unless you want to be taken for a ride. He also lied to me regarding communication with a judicial office regarding my case. He was called out for this my them and made fun of. I don't look for this weirdo to be practicing for long.

Bryce Runkle Attorney at Law - Really neat building inside!

I have an issue for which I needed to consult an attorney. After someone I know made some calls on…read moremy behalf, we heard back from Mr. Runkle in 24 hours and I had an appointment for the following afternoon, a Friday. Mr. Runkle offered a very reasonable fee for a consultation, and that fee is waived if you decide to hire him. His office is located in the Berkshire Building in downtown Peru. Street parking was available right outside the front door. I was amazed when we made our way inside the entrance. The interior has an old cobble road, dark woodwork and beams, paintings on the walls, and street lamps. It was comfortably dim and cool and felt like I had stepped into a little old German town. It's an older building and really neat! It wasn't crowded at all either. We first went into the wrong office which turned out to belong to another attorney we had been recommended but is retiring. His friendly secretary greeted us right away and directed us just across and down the hall where we would have found Mr. Runkle's name on the door had we walked just a bit further on our own. We opened the office and were faced with an unoccupied desk right there, and Mr. Runkle emerged from his office right away and invited us in. He introduced himself and shook our hands. His diplomas are prominently displayed on his office walls. We learned that he was born near Peru, grew up in Texas, and has recently returned to Indiana. So far, I have the impression that Bryce Runkle is professional and thorough. He consulted us for nearly two hours. I felt like I was in the right place as my questions were all answered in detail. I don't feel like I'm being fed a bunch of bull like I have with most of the other attorneys I have had the displeasure of dealing with. Mr. Runkle seems to genuinely care and knows his stuff. I like that he has also practiced law in Texas and seems to have a broader knowledge than someone who has always been in the same place. He's in a small town, and not stuffy like some big city lawyer. The small office in the highly interesting, non-bustling building certainly added to my comfort level. It's refreshing to not need to visit a high-rise in a crowded downtown setting such as you would find in Indianapolis. Some other pluses are that Bryce answers his own phone. He is easy to reach by phone and email. The building also had nice, albeit older, restrooms near the front entrance. I will surely update this review if needed, but I am already impressed. I instantly felt a lot of weight come off my shoulders. I was able to relax as I spoke with him in the office, and being that comfortable in public is a rarity for me these days.

He explained everything and handled an issue for me immediately. I trust Mr. Runckle and believe that he is sincere in what he does. It is hard to find a good attorney who actually does what he says and is not so very exspensive like most attorneys. He will be handling a couple more things for me like a will for my husband and myself. I would recommend Mr. Runkle to anyone looking for a great attorney. Mr. Runkle will always be our attorney. He is very good with children and asking questions and explaining things to a child.
