Linda, Kelly and everyone at Wild Horse Mountain Farm are not only amazing, they genuinely love,…read morecare, support and, respect horses (all animals actually) and families (including mine). There are not enough words to express the gratitude for everything they have and, continue to do for my family and I. We met Linda a year ago, never imagining how it would impact our lives in such a beautiful, meaningful and special way. When we met Linda, she showed us her farm as she was also sharing learnings about the love, healing and care of horses in such an easy way for our kids to comprehend and appreciate. Her values, approach and love for nature blew our minds. As we approached the end of our meeting, my husband and kids walked back to the car while I stayed with Linda a little longer as I wanted to share with her that my son was recently diagnosed with ADHD and, I wanted to get her thoughts about how (and if) horse riding lessons could benefit my son. Keep in mind, that the isolation driven by the pandemic only added to my son's anxiety and enhanced other issues. I was desperate and i was at a breaking point where I felt so helpless and thought there might not be something out there that would be safe and could help us. As I was sharing this with Linda and, tears ran down my mask, she gave me a strong hug and continued to listen. She didn't have to listen to me, she didn't have to comfort me and she certainly didn't have to give more of her time yet, she did and, willingly with such a pure loving heart. Horse riding lessons was certainly a game changer for my son, Kelly is instrumental! My son gained confidence, he was able to start looking into his trainer eyes when talking and being talked to, he was able to be and remain calmed most of the time, he connected with each horse he rode, he cared and respected horses feelings, etc... so many benefits. Heck, I even started learning how to connect with horses and care for them (I even got to have a few riding lessons myself). It certainly takes a village. I could probably write a book here . We are so thankful, blessed and happy to be part of the Wild Horse Mountain Farm family. BIG shout out to Linda and Kelly! Thank you for all that you do and all that you are.

ok, to be honest didnt start great. First few sessions weren't that great. My mom got our daughter…read morea Groupon for Christmas for 4 lessons.( Our daughter was born with a gift of loving horses and so good with them! she's rode a few times and did summer camp here. ) My husband and I felt very disappointed until we gave them another chance buying another month of lessons at normal rate (as they won't let you use another Groupon even if you didn't purchase it. ) we were skeptical. ......... Until we met Molly. She BLEW us away! She changed the game. Our 9 year old really responded to her well, it was shocking the change in her attitude and lesson. Finally, our daughter was riding like she should've been the whole time. Learning more in that one lesson than the entire month before. I would say we lost money in that fist month but in the end we were blown away. It was worth it. I cried at our last lesson (fist with Molly) as I FaceTimed my husband a mom as well as videoed our daughter doing so amazing and riding with confidence. Molly changed the game. We now have each lesson with Molly and found our daughter the best lady in town! It was worth it in the end. I think you just have to find your child or yourself a teacher that fits best with your child's or your personality. I wish it didn't take as long as it did though. I don't like to see my daughter in lessons with "teachers" doing nothing though(especially at the rate in this economy) which sucked but there is a silver lining thankfully... we went through 4 "teachers" and we only want molly! The owner has been amazing as well to communicate all our needs and help us make our daughters dreams come true in this life of being a horse riding cowgirl! Thank you Amythyst!!! Molly is a star!

Lynne Hartman leases horses from people and does not care for them properly. I had to take my horse…read moreback when it was "discovered" he had an extremely advanced case of white line disease. I recently was contacted by her former student who informed me she had told Lynne about the white line long before it progressed and it was ignored. She was having students show and take lessons on him all the while he was lame. The only reason she told me about it was because a potential buyer got x rays. After I took him back she told people he was dead. I also learned she forced a horse with a broken jaw to continue to give lessons and she's abused other leased horses. She must have one hell of a lawyer because apparently cases against her get dismissed. We had to spend all of our money on rehabilitating him so we could not afford to sue although she absolutely deserves it. I'm writing this only in hopes I can save another horse from this. Please beware of this woman. Photo is the horse in question getting his foot x rayed and resected. She's completely full of crap so I'm sure she will have some retort. Read the other 1 stars, all these people who don't know each other had the same experience. I wish I saw these before I sent my sweet boy there.

Just returned from three hours of fun at Hoffman's with my 3 and 5 year old grandsons, and we would…read morereturn in a heartbeat. Here are some of the kids attractions - petting zoo with llamas, adult and baby pig, goats, etc - four inflatables - castle, slide, obstacle course, and traditional bounce house - terrific covered hay maze. Lots of tunnels, twists and turns. - Homemade carousel - wooden horses with carts. Fun, bumpy ride. - Tractor-driven hay ride - ball pit surrounded by hay bales - dried corn "sandbox" with shovels and vehicles to play with - Bins containing dirt and potatoes, with shovels provided for digging up the potatoes - Wooden cow - sandwich boards on either side of a bucket with udders underneath for pretend milking - farm stuff - Walk on the wild side - an indoor guided walk with individual flashlights through dark passages decorated with jungle foliage, and exotic snakes, spiders and reptiles in aquariums. Scary but not unreasonably frightening for a 3-year old. - Haunted cemetary - Loch ness monster sticking out of the pond, out back - Alvin and the Chipmunks, and Homer and Marge life-size characters to take photos with. For $12, kids get a wrist band and unlmiited access to all of the attractions (except the pony rides - $5/each). We had a buy-one, get-one free coupon, so it was really a great deal. They offer reasonably priced food - hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos, etc. Particularly noteworthy, the curly fries are fresh cut while you watch, from huge Idaho potatoes. If I understand correctly, the kid's attractions are leased and run independently of the Hoffman farm. Definitely kitschy, but great fun. It was practically empty the day we went (we arrived at 11 am the Saturday before Halloween), and the kids rode and jumped and played non-stop - often having the attraction to themselves, and never waiting in line, so they were worn out when we were done. The farm itself seems to be an exotic animal refuge, and if the animals aren't well cared for as other reviewers stated, it wasn't obvious to me.

I felt sorry for these animals and wonder how they got a license to keep them. The animals were dirty and some had very little shelter from the rain and cold. They charge for everything here, we only did the inflatables they were $1 each ( there is a total of 3 of them.) The food area looked scary too. The glove the man was using looked pretty old and he didn't even have one on the other hand. Then he only wore it for a short time. I will never go back to this place.
