Just went into their new place on E cypress next to McDonalds. Ordered their super nachos. Sprinkle of guacamole and sour cream, w/ a small ramekin of nacho cheese. It was barely enough for dipping 5 to 7 chips, let alone a big thing of nachos that cost $17. They wouldn't even allow me to have a little bit more cheese. They said it cost like a couple dollars or so. So I asked for my money back. I bet their Meat is a lot better than the previous place that was there, but that is just ridiculous. This is probably the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. And I eat Mexican a ton... from all over! I ordered a conga burrito and guacamole. I don't even KNOW where to begin explaining the guacamole. It was runny... like watery. It tasted like water mixed with a bit of slime. I couldn't even taste the avocado- or anything else, really! The refried beans were extremely salty, and the meat what honestly just chewy and gross with no real flavor. Tortilla and rice was just okay. I was expecting more flavor in the burrito and real guacamole. Instead, it just tasted bland and the guacamole tasted like slimy water. I am a vegetarian and dd not enjoy anything that I tried. Perhaps meat options might've tasted better, but the rice tasted old, the beans had a strange taste, the chips with the chips and salsa (not free) were way too salty, the pico de gallo had no salt, the salsa was tasteless, just hot or mild. Atmosphere was kind of dingy. My wife wanted to order a vegetarian taco, but they could not accommodate. I wish I had something positive to say and I would if I could. The taquitis are amazing, done to perfection. You take a bite and you don't pull all the meat out. The salsas are very good too. Be careful of the red sauce. It has a great flavor but I do pretty darned hot. Green sauce is delicious, sweet. My wife had the taco salad and she says it was delicious too. Atmosphere was pleasant service was spot on. This place has completely gone down hill. We would go here once a week and get the quesabirras. They were tender, cooked in the beef broth, filled with cheese and huge. Now they have cut the size in half, they are completely dry and barely any cheese. The price is insane for how bad it is. The customer service could also improve. Last night we decided to go try the taco shop. We ordered Bria tacos, a super supreme burrito, and a Horchata drink. The Horchata was super sweet so we asked if they were willing to exchange it for something different. They told us know that it would be a refill. After we waited for about 30 minutes for our meal we went to the car and left it was late so they closed already we checked our bags. And there was a burrito in there along with the Bria tacos. When I got home we decided to split the Bria tacos they were a total of five and we cut the burrito in half and it was not a super supreme burrito. It clearly said Reading burrito which was not what we ordered. I'll ask for onions and cilantro in the burrito and this Redding burrito had no onions or cilantro. The top of that they put bacon in the Reading burrito and the bacon was super cooked to the point where it was hard to chew. read more

Excellent find! These guys cooked a mean cane Assad burrito. They loaded it exactly the way l like. It was big!! The meat itself is how I personally tell Whether I like a Mexican place.
