Anyway, Drinx is a moderately-sized off-licence located in Maghull's square and offers the usual modest selection of alcohol that you would expect from an off-licence of its kind. The prices aren't particularly cheap but as with most places like this, you're paying a little bit extra for the convenience (and them not being warm, usually). There is the usual selection of lagers and bitters available but nothing too obscure generally and the range of wines on offer is fairly extensive. If you're looking for the cheapest deals possible then you should probably head to the nearest supermarket but if you're in a rush then Drinx isn't too bad a place to go to.

The staff in the store in Rainhill are friendly and helpful and they will gladly order goods in for you if they have run out of the stock you want. A side road is situated outside, although it must be stated that is a busy road with lots of people wanting to park by the shops and therefore parking is often not easy.

Most of the spirits are discounted, some are better priced than the supermarket and there all brand names. They do have some that are not the norm, but they are really cheap and maybe should be avoided. There are somethings they dont stock, bottled beer for example, all cans Im afraid. Lots of chocolate, nibbles, pops, mixers and little gadgets for children. Not the smartest shop and the staff aren't the best, but if it's cheap beer you want, this is the right place.

Bargain booze is a huge off license and is open until 10 o clock most days, they seem to stock almost everything you could possibly want, they must keep their prices down by buying in bulk. If you're looking for wine, this is the d b....! It is…read moreliterally a warehouse full of boxes of wine - well almost, as there are some stacks of beer and real ale in a bottle and spirits, but walking in, it seems to be a wino's Valhalla. The prices are, in most part, absolutely unbelievable. We get our entire bottled wine supplies from here as it is so handy for visiting, but they have repeatedly told us to just 'phone or e-mail and they'll bring it round within an hour! Obviously, this doesn't apply to domestic buyers, but the prices do apply. Most operations like this will insist on discounts for the number of cases one buys. Majestic start their discounts if you buy more than one bottle of any particular wine! Add to this the very knowledgable staff and the frequent tasting sessions (free to all), and you have my ideal suppliers. One final note; Majestic have a selection of alcoholic drinks from the cheapest (reasonable quality) wines right up to the best quality spirits with most things in between.
