Went here a few times. Food and service excellent. Went the other day. When I opened. Specifically asked for ketchup and the receipt. I asked the guy at the window "Cole". Also asked him if the straw was in the bag. He said yes. I drove away about a mile away to eat my food. Chicken a little soggy. No ketchup. No receipt and no straw. I called up to ask for the manager. "Cole" said he was the manager. I explained to him the issue. He said to come back ask for him and he would make it right. I swung back to the drive thru. He gave me a bag with a box inside. I drove away and parked. He gave me about six or seven ketchups, 2 slices of bread and a cane sauce. Not sure if he was playing games with me. I didn't ask for all that ketchup, bread and sauce. First of all I already ate my chicken previously. The respectful common sense thing would have been to give me some fresh hot fries to go with that ketchup. I'm going to call back and ask for a manager again. I doubt he was the manager. A manager has more integrity than that. read more

Can't believe it took me this long to try Raising Cane's, I finally get the hype. Maybe it was also because it was my first meal of the day, but wow... it was so good. I got the 6-piece Caniac, and it came with all the fix ins, toast, fries, cole slaw... everything just worked together perfectly. The chicken was super juicy, crispy, and honestly some of the best fried chicken I've had in a while. Simple menu, but they do it really well. About 10 years ago, I first had Raising Canes in Downey. Now the chicken strips are smaller and overall portions are smaller. I got the kids meal because I had a huge breakfast and wasn't hungry for lunch. The food was good despite shrinkflation. read more

They don't have indoor dining but they have outdoor patio tables with umbrella for guest to eat in. Service was friendly and professional. My order was ready in a few minutes. I ordered the Box, My chicken fingers was delish. I love their toast! You have to ask for a refill on your soda at their takeout window. A nice casual lunch spot. Raising Cane's is a great addition to this little area. I've only had Raising Cane's once before, and since there's always so much hype around them opening new locations, I was excited to see one coming so close to my house. After what seemed like forever for the location to be completed, I finally ventured over one afternoon for a late lunch. To my surprise, there is no interior seating at this location, but they do have a great patio area with lots of seating, much of it shaded, which I appreciated. There's also a small parking lot for those who drive there. The menu is small, but that's always been Raising Cane's focus, I think: do one thing and do it well. For me, I just don't really understand the hype behind the food. It's good and always tastes fresh, but is it amazing? I wouldn't go that far. I tried the three-piece chicken tender plate the first time, and the second time I went for the sandwich. The sandwich is basically the same thing, just with the tenders on a bun. The sauce is the best part, and the fries are great dipped in it. What I do give them props for is their service. I've now been there twice, and both times the staff was very friendly and helpful. Aside from that, I think the seating area is really nice for a quick lunch. With the growing number of great chicken spots in the area, it can be hard to stand out. And although it's good, I don't find myself craving Raising Cane's enough to make a special trip there. If it's convenient and I'm in a rush, this is the perfect spot. It's worth forming your own opinion if you love chicken tenders and haven't tried theirs before. read more

Absolutely gobsmacked that people rave about this place. They served me one of the most unimpressive fast food meals I have ever had. The chicken was fine. Not great, not even good. Just okay. The breading fell off. The fries were unseasoned, unsalted, and 100% taste-free. The unsweet tea was okay. The sauce was okay. I don't love creamy dipping sauces, but it wasn't too rich. I asked for ketchup and hot sauce, and they added 1 Heinz dip cup and a few packets of Louisiana hot sauce to my bag. Thanx. The size of the meal was laughable. It was barely more of a serving than I'd expect in a child's meal. I ordered the 3-piece combo because I didn't want coleslaw (I can only imagine how awful the coleslaw is!) I received 2 okay-sized fingers, 1 tiny finger (see my photos), and a pittance of fries. I didn't need the extra sauce I ordered. I wasn't expecting to gorge myself, but the paltry amount of food in the combo was shocking. My order was ice cold. I placed a pick-up order and retrieved it within the 15 minute timeframe they gave. They must have slapped it together immediately and placed it in the coldest spot in the restaurant. I wouldn't be surprised if they placed it in a refrigerator. The tables were all dirty. No one came around to wipe off the outdoor furniture or clear trash whilst we were there. This location is also in an area crawling with transients, one of whom flailed through the patio section ranting at the top of his lungs. Not one worker even popped their head out to check to see if any patrons needed assistance. Again, I am struggling to understand why people line up around the block for this slop. If their "raising" goal was excellence, they certainly stopped at MID. read more

I've been to Raising Caine's twice before. One was in the San Antonio airport, and the other on Camp Pendleton in North San Diego county. This location opened a day ago, so I wanted to try it out. The set-up is supposedly a new concept. There is no indoor restaurant. It's all ToGo with some outdoor tables. Approaching from the sidewalk, I couldn't figure out where to order. Luckily, the new spot has a ton of managers walking around who pointed me in the right direction. There was no line. I ordered a 3 piece with a Coke. I had to trade the Coke for an iced tea because the mix tasted off and flat. The food was okay I guess. The chicken was fried well, but breading seemed minimum. The fries were fine. First of all, this place is expensive! I wouldn't mind paying the price if I Got good food! Ordered a chicken sandwich and added a side of coleslaw. Don't be upset when you get home and your side of coleslaw is just a small portion. The side of fries? About 7 fries. My chicken sandwich was drenched in sauce, had a a small piece of wet lettuce. I just ordered online for pickup and when I got to the location I was confused about whether or not I can pick up in the drive thru and the lady at the ordering part of the drive thru was very nice and explained that since no one was there (this is relevant later) that it's ok but in the future, I have to park and pickup. No problem. I drove thru and when I got to the window, the lady at the window said my name and handed me my food very quickly and was nice. No problem. I pulled up and checked my bag to see I was missing the sauce and now a car pulled behind me so I couldn't back up to ask for a sauce. If I pulled out onto the street, I'd be on Lankershim because there is no option to pull back into a parking lot. Since the drive thru is a two lane drive thru, I pulled my car all the way to the left and put hazards on. I ran 10 steps to the pick up window and asked if I could have a sauce to a young man who said yes because I explain I ordered it and it wasn't in the bag. Then a girl comes up behind him and tells me to pull over (I'm the most pulled over I can be without either driving into oncoming traffic or parking on a sidewalk) and she'd bring it to me. I said "where can I pull over?" And she said "I don't know but pull over because you're blocking traffic". Meanwhile the one car that pulled up behind me was pulling out onto Lankershim because again remember, two lane drive thru. I said "is it quicker if you just hand it to me?" She said no and told me to pull over again so I get back in my car and then the girl and a manager come walking out and the manager (whoever the manager was at 2:30pm on June 17, 2025. A short man that appeared to be Hispanic). He asks me to pull over meanwhile the girl is standing next to him with sauce in her hand. I said where would you like me to pull over and he just said it again. At this point I feel like I'm hallucinating because WHERE CAN I PULL OVER? Plus at this point there is literally no one anywhere else in the drive thru. Two full open lanes with the exception of me. World is my oyster in this drive thru. I said " instead of all of this back and forth can I just have the sauce?" And the girl says "we charge for sauce" and I said "I know. I paid for it and it's not in my bag". Again they said I'm blocking traffic BUT NO ONE IS BEHIND ME. I finally said can you just give me the sauce so I can leave this is insane and they handed it to me and I left. Let's keep the main thing the main thing...1) check orders and make sure they're correct. 2) if a customer is trying to make it easy to correct, don't assert the only power you have in the world to make the persons life more complicated 3) a manager should know how to deescalate a situation, not enable a rude power hungry employee that is making drama for literally nothing. 4) if you're in the service industry, your job is to keep customers coming back and this whole stupid interaction definitely lost them one customer because who has the time and patience to go play into someone's weird ego just to pick up food I paid for. Is this the end of the world? Absolutely not. Was this whole interaction unnecessary? Absolutely. Ps I asked for no bread because I'm allergic to wheat and when I opened the box there was a big fat piece of bread covering my fries. read more

Food was fresh, but the price for the combo was $20 for half the amount of food we're used to. Other Canes locations always had double the fries and the chicken is like 25% smaller. Solely outdoor seating, with umbrellas. Customer service was okay, it really just is the portions are so much smaller than what they either normally are or used to be. read more

I thought she had made the change because I told her the circumstance and she looked away and said nothing. In the fakest tone she said to have a goodnight and I thought it was genuine but she basically turned me away. Not sure what's up with this location but it's lame. Customer service here is always bad. The girls on the register never have a smile on their faces they rarely even say hello. . I there's only one polite girl ;I think she's new. The manager is even worst she never ever smiles, a manager should be pleasant she always looks annoyed. And every time I come Here the fries get smaller I ordered the sandwich combo and counted 8 fries that I was given. That's just ripping people off. The encino location is n100x better. When you walk in there right away they greet you, even the cooks greet and so you can just feel the positive energy. This location is completely opposite it starts with the manager if she's not polite the employees won't be either. This location needs to be looked into. read more
