About 10 years ago, I first had Raising Canes in Downey. Now the chicken strips are smaller and overall portions are smaller. I got the kids meal because I had a huge breakfast and wasn't hungry for lunch. The food was good despite shrinkflation.

They don't have indoor dining but they have outdoor patio tables with umbrella for guest to eat in. Service was friendly and professional. My order was ready in a few minutes. I ordered the Box, My chicken fingers was delish. I love their toast! You have to ask for a refill on your soda at their takeout window. It was a cool windy day today so it was a pleasant dining experience.

A nice casual lunch spot. Raising Cane's is a great addition to this little area. I've only had Raising Cane's once before, and since there's always so much hype around them opening new locations, I was excited to see one coming so close to my house. After what seemed like forever for the location to be completed, I finally ventured over one afternoon for a late lunch. To my surprise, there is no interior seating at this location, but they do have a great patio area with lots of seating, much of it shaded, which I appreciated. There's also a small parking lot for those who drive there. The menu is small, but that's always been Raising Cane's focus, I think: do one thing and do it well. For me, I just don't really understand the hype behind the food. It's good and always tastes fresh, but is it amazing? I wouldn't go that far. I tried the three-piece chicken tender plate the first time, and the second time I went for the sandwich. The sandwich is basically the same thing, just with the tenders on a bun. The sauce is the best part, and the fries are great dipped in it. What I do give them props for is their service. I've now been there twice, and both times the staff was very friendly and helpful. Aside from that, I think the seating area is really nice for a quick lunch. With the growing number of great chicken spots in the area, it can be hard to stand out. And although it's good, I don't find myself craving Raising Cane's enough to make a special trip there. If it's convenient and I'm in a rush, this is the perfect spot. It's worth forming your own opinion if you love chicken tenders and haven't tried theirs before.

Plastic found in my chicken

Totally disgusting, OK found plastic found in my chicken. Not once but twice in 2 different tenders. Had to throw it away.

The most twee finger for the already tiny 3-piece combo

Absolutely gobsmacked that people rave about this place. They served me one of the most unimpressive fast food meals I have ever had. The chicken was fine. Not great, not even good. Just okay. The breading fell off. The fries were unseasoned, unsalted, and 100% taste-free. The unsweet tea was okay. The sauce was okay. I don't love creamy dipping sauces, but it wasn't too rich. I asked for ketchup and hot sauce, and they added 1 Heinz dip cup and a few packets of Louisiana hot sauce to my bag. Thanx. The size of the meal was laughable. It was barely more of a serving than I'd expect in a child's meal. I ordered the 3-piece combo because I didn't want coleslaw (I can only imagine how awful the coleslaw is!) I received 2 okay-sized fingers, 1 tiny finger (see my photos), and a pittance of fries. I didn't need the extra sauce I ordered. I wasn't expecting to gorge myself, but the paltry amount of food in the combo was shocking. My order was ice cold. I placed a pick-up order and retrieved it within the 15 minute timeframe they gave. They must have slapped it together immediately and placed it in the coldest spot in the restaurant. I wouldn't be surprised if they placed it in a refrigerator. The tables were all dirty. No one came around to wipe off the outdoor furniture or clear trash whilst we were there. This location is also in an area crawling with transients, one of whom flailed through the patio section ranting at the top of his lungs. Not one worker even popped their head out to check to see if any patrons needed assistance. Again, I am struggling to understand why people line up around the block for this slop. If their "raising" goal was excellence, they certainly stopped at MID.

Service okay. The young ladies were handling a good group of cars and I got through pretty quick. Food needed some help tonight. Fries cold, bread cold, fries taste and texture was old and not fresh. So to me the sides are just as important as the small chicken strips. I have been to this location before. Maybe they didn't want to work tonight

6 piece with fries, slaw, and a piece of bread

This outdoor dining spot features chicken tenders and fries. You order and take a seat at a table, many have umbrellas to offer shade from the hot sun. Then, you go get your order when your name is called. Except for the cashier, it's mostly self-service. The food was hot and fresh. I think the chicken could be a bit more seasoned. The prices are high. A 6-piece meal cost about $20.

I've been to Raising Caine's twice before. One was in the San Antonio airport, and the other on Camp Pendleton in North San Diego county. This location opened a day ago, so I wanted to try it out. The set-up is supposedly a new concept. There is no indoor restaurant. It's all ToGo with some outdoor tables. Approaching from the sidewalk, I couldn't figure out where to order. Luckily, the new spot has a ton of managers walking around who pointed me in the right direction. There was no line. I ordered a 3 piece with a Coke. I had to trade the Coke for an iced tea because the mix tasted off and flat. The food was okay I guess. The chicken was fried well, but breading seemed minimum. The fries were fine. I guess I'm just not a huge fan, but it didn't taste bad.

Haven't had Canes in years and so happy they opened up a location near me! Ordered chicken tenders, fries, Texas toast and canes sauce all al a carte. Everything tasted just like I remember. They had a pretty good system moving the line along outside and all the employees were pretty friendly.

This joint however, they got it right Nestled in what looks like an industrial zone and a kin to dive a bar and an AA meeting place, is Humble Bird. A straight basic fried chicken joint that serves out Memphis hot sandos that are juicy, warm, and oh, so good. Definitely in my top five. Definitely. I did medium heat, which really wasn't warm to me, but it was flavorful and you could actually taste the floral of peppercorn. The pickles were crunchy and the slaw had something secret. I'm thinking it was reddish added, but I'm not sure. Either way it was great and went perfect on the sandwich . I also got a side of their spiced up fries and, though I'm not a big fries guy, these are spot on. The chef that came up with this mix of spices and herbs, nailed it. It's definitely not close to me, but I would definitely find a way to return. Probably try the cheese melt chicken sando next Whomever lives near here or if YOU happen to in the area, try it. I think you'll be satisfied. (Note: the sando id much bigger live) Enjoy

Where to park wasn't clear to us but it didn't take long to find free street parking a short walk away on Weddington. Ordering at this location is through a walk up window. However today it was fully occupied by a team member handling pick-up orders. There was another team member who seemed to be taking orders as customers walked up, but was also helping with pick ups. This was a bit confusing so we just waited until someone approached us which didn't take long. The husband chose the Bruxie SmashBurger (+ egg), opting to make it a combo with Waffle Fries and soda. I had the Chicken & Waffles. It all came out pretty quickly. The husband said his SmashBurger was fresh, flavorful and perfectly prepared. He loved the waffle fries. My chicken tenders were nicely fried, moist on the inside and seasoned well. The waffle was light and crisp. It all came together with the whipped butter and pure maple syrup -- so good! Service was great. Team members checked on us and refilled drinks. I do appreciate that they have packs of moist towelettes easily available for customers.

Thankfully we finally caved in because we've been sleeping on this place for years! It's located off of Lankershim Blvd & Academy Way, basically next to the Laemmle Noho 7 and the Saban Media Center. Bruxie was kind of hard to gauge on how to order - there's a walk-up window for ordering and pick-up orders, but employees can also walk right up to you and place your order for you. You can also order online ahead, so yeah slightly confusing but as long as you put your order in you're golden. They have four big tables outside along with counter seating on the sidewalk. If it gets too hot or cold, they also have seating inside an old train car that is purely counters only. We sat inside the train car, but the only caveat is that people are constantly going in/out and they sometimes leave the door open. They also have a water station inside the train car if you want to cool off. My wife and I both ordered the Kickin' "Nashville" Hot Chicken Sandwich and we shared the Loaded Waffle-Cut Fries. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time - if you're dining there, the employees bring out your food wherever you are and provide plastic utensils along with sauces. The hot chicken sandos live up to their namesake, packing quite a kick! The loaded waffle fries hit the spot. If you're in NoHo looking for some good chicken & waffles, Bruxie will satisfy! We can't wait to come back and try more of their menu! They're open late too if you have some late night cravings (they close at midnight Thurs, Fri & Sat). There's street parking or you can park at the garage of the Saban Media Center.

Like, the kind of service where you actually feel welcomed and not rushed or awkward for asking questions. The staff was super patient and took the time to really explain the menu and walk me through all the different spice levels, which I appreciated so much. I had questions about the menu and especially about the spice levels, and instead of rushing me or giving short answers, they took the time to fully explain everything. They broke down what each heat level feels like, how intense it is, and even gave honest recommendations depending on spice tolerance. You could tell they actually care about making sure customers enjoy their food, not just pushing orders out. I ended up ordering the Kluckin Tenders and decided to go all in by trying every spice level they offer: No Heat, Kluckin Mild, Kluckin Hot, and Kluckin Fire. Starting with No Heat, i tried the og tender to see how it was alone without any spice because I'm quite the chicken tender connoisseur haha. I was honestly surprised by how flavorful it still was. The tenders were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned really well. Even without spice, nothing tasted bland or boring, which says a lot about the quality of the chicken and seasoning. Kluckin Mild was a nice step up. It had some heat, enough to let you know it's there without being overpowering. This felt like a perfect everyday option -- flavorful, balanced, and very easy to enjoy. Kluckin Hot is where the heat really starts to kick in. It definitely made me slow down, but I loved that the flavor was still there. It wasn't just spicy for the sake of being spicy. You could still taste the seasoning and the chicken, which is something a lot of places get wrong. And then there's Kluckin Fire. This one is no joke. It looks like it would absolutely obliterate my taste buds. It definitely looks scarier than it is! The heat builds fast and lingers, and the staff definitely wasn't exaggerating when they warned me about it! That being said, it's still well made. This flavor actually ended up being my favorite! If you're someone who actually enjoys serious spice, you'll appreciate this level. It's intense, but it feels intentional. I also have to talk about the sides! The coleslaw was actually really good. Fresh, super crunchy, and well balanced. Not overly mayo-heavy or soggy like a lot of places do it. It had just the right amount of creaminess that helped cool things down between bites, especially when working my way through the hotter spice levels. It paired perfectly with the tenders and was honestly a lifesaver once I got to Kluckin Hot and Kluckin Fire. The crinkle cut fries were another highlight. Super crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. The crinkle cut shape made them extra satisfying, and they held up really well even as I took my time eating. They weren't greasy or limp at all! Which is always a plus. Dipping them in their kluckin sauce was so addictive. (Absolutely must have this with your meal here) Seriously, can we please bottle this sauce?! Overall, this place just does everything right. Great food, real spice options, and customer service that makes you want to come back. It's rare to find a spot where the staff is both knowledgeable and genuinely kind, and it makes a huge difference. If you're a hot chicken fan or someone who likes exploring different spice levels, this place is absolutely worth a visit. I'll definitely be coming back and already recommending it to friends. Thanks so much for having me!!
