His crew was the most considerate and hardworking I've ever had at my house--they picked up every scrap of wood and trash at the end of each day. Angel was patient and walked us through the design process. He also built three custom gates, including one that gives us easy access to the street for trash cans. The design is so seamless that you can barely tell there's even a gate (take a look at the last photo). The fence turned out better than we imagined. When I moved to Port Angeles I heard about a heating system that was new to me. Heat pumps don't…read moreexist in Florida but I was intrigued. A neighbor recommended Alpha Builders so highly that I finally called. Owner Ken arrived on time and took so many measurements it surprised me. He explained he did that to be certain I'd get the right size unit for the house. Ken also talked with me about how heat pumps work, and helped me select the best installation location. And, bonus for me, the Alpha office staff pulled together the paperwork to apply for a government rebate because heat pumps are energy efficient. All I had to do was sign the forms! Jay installed the new system quickly and was proud of his work. His attention to detail was obvious. Best yet, when he was done he completely cleaned up, both inside and out. You'd never know he'd been there. A few days later the city inspector arrived and asked who did the installation. When I told him "Alpha," he smiled and said, "oh good - their heat pumps always pass inspection." And so it did. I have now recommended Alpha to others, who are as satisfied as I am. We all appreciate the professionalism and high quality of work. There is no doubt to me that Ken is honest - and he's built integrity into his company.
