Came here at around 10:30 on a Friday night had a hankerin for somethin sweet. So this was the closest donut shop that was open late. Awesome price, not to sweet, the donuts are much larger/thicker than Krispy k or any donut shop I've been to in the area. Great variety as well. Pop is there in the mornings unloading supplies and mom is putting them away. Never had a donut I didn't like. Can't beat the holes as they are cheap and good. Open 24 hrs!!!! Ive been here quite a few times, but all of them were late night/early morning trips. I sometimes get a dozen donuts when i know its super fresh (anything after 4am) and the maple bars are the best in town, hands down. It was 11:30pm and all the other boba joints were closed, so we found this hidden gem through on Yelp. Walking in, we didn't have high expectations because 24/7 places aren't always the greatest. But man we're we so amazed with the smoothies and donuts we got! The smoothies looked exactly like the menu and tasted even better than I imagined, and the donuts weren't stale at all. We come back here again and again, whether its for a quick breakfast on the way to work, or a late night sweet tooth snack, but mostly for a middle of the day smoothie and donut fix. Their smoothies are great! Way tastier then Jamba Juice in the same shopping center, and cheaper! I can't stop getting the Mango Pineapple! I'm sure that the cases are full in the morning, but other times there aren't many in regard to selection and when there are very few they look old. The shop has a great selection of sandwiches and drinks though. Sandwiches are really well made, though I haven't tried their multitude of drinks other than coffee. When buying donuts, my go to places are the Mom and Pop shops nearby! My sister and I got a sudden craving for doughnuts while running errands and we past by this shop. We bought a dozen doughnuts for only 8.00$. The doughnuts were just the perfect sweetness for me. Lightly glazed with a nice doughy texture. Don't go here period! For this to be a 24hours Donut shop it was pretty sad, nothing was left when you come around 10ish at night (less 15 donuts to choice from). And I'm pretty sure that was what was left from the day batch. I would expect a eatery who opens for 24 hours would have good amount of food, to sell to there customers. If someone decided to come and buy 1 dozen your pretty much out of inventory to sell to your customers for the remaining hours of the night. All in all it was just SAD. read more

This place is open 24hours. I never had the chance to try their boba drinks... but they are always fast when I order. They have a variety of donuts. I like to come early morning to purchase pastries and donuts. The ham and cheese croissants are inconsistent (hear me out before you judge)... It's inconsistent because some have more ham and cheese than the actual croissant and others have more croissant than the actual ham and cheese (on these days - I feel shortchanged). Also they make this fantastic low carb breakfast sandwich.. no buns.. just eggs topped with onions cheese, sausage.. or ham... bacon.. and it is absolutely deee-licious. This is great for after workout... I can't complain it's a little mom and pops and they are super friendly and sweet so I would recommend anyone to at least stop by and try it... Watch out! They will sneak in one or two dollars more than what you suppose to pay, when you buy multiple items. They usually don't give out receipt unless you ask. So I figured they upcharged me after I did my math of different items that I got. I left the shop already and on my way to work so I didn't bother to go back to confront. Then next time, I got my morning donuts for the office again. And I did my math right at the shop after they told me the total. And no surprise it happened again that they charged more than it's supposed to be. First time, it could be a mistake. But when it happened twice in a row. I don't think so. Score! I was at the bank and had a sudden craving for boba. Far from my go-to boba places, Honey Boba and 85 Degrees on Artesia, I did a quick search on yelp. Rainbow donuts? Would they really have boba? Pictures said it was true and I now say it's probably the best boba I've ever had! The boba bubbles are super soft and huge and they give you a lot, not like the boba chain stores. I found a new go-to for my boba. I'll have to try the food next time. The best donut shop I've been to so far, and I've been to a lot. Getting monthly PMS cravings for something greasy and sweet, I'm always on a hunt for a good local donut shop. For some reason, the Krispy Kreme on Artesia Blvd. makes really crappy donuts so it's worth driving an extra mile to come to Rainbow. I can order 4 breakfast sausage, egg, and cheese croissantwiches and get 2 free cups of coffee, all for $15. Cheap- and most importantly- GOOD. The croissants are nice and flaky and they give you jalapenos on the side. How'd they know these are my favorite kind of jalapenos?!? If you're not in the mood for a breakfast sandwich, they've got a menu lining the whole back wall with about 20 different sandwiches filled with roast beef, tuna, or ham. If you buy two, you get free soda (or coffee). They also have hotdogs- buy two, get free soda. The donuts are good too, not greasy or soggy. Lack of donut details, I know, but the sandwiches are just so good I feel like it's the main attraction for this place for me. Now I know why they call this place Rainbow donuts. Just the other day I happened to be heading to an appointment at Gardena Memorial Hospital, where I was to present to a staff of 20, I pulled off the freeway and noticed Rainbow Donut Shop on the south side of the street on Redondo Beach Blvd. I think its in Gardena but it might be Torrance. I just wanted a quick cup of coffee, as I was bit early for my meeting, so i decided to stop in and check this place out. Upon entering this small establishment in relatively large Shopping Plaza, I was so kindly greeted by the proprietor, Mr Long. Before saying a word Mr Long handed a complimentary fresh warm donut sample along with a huge, welcoming smile. My first bite of the fresh, warm donut was so good that words just cannot descibe. It had to be of the most delicious donuts I've ever had and pleasure of eating. I asked how long it would take to make 3 dozen for me to take to my meeting. Mr Long told me it would take just 10 minutes to prepare. I agreed, and, like clockwork, the donuts were boxed and front of me right on time. He asked me if I wanted to have it delivered to my meeting at the hospital along with coffee and Orange Juice. It was almost as if he was clairvoyant. he said, "go to your meeting, my friend, I'll see you there and we'll settle up then." I just wanted to recognize the owner and staff of Rainbow Donut Shop for making my meeting a success.
