Mr. O'Meara doesn't overcharge, and I always get money back. I live in California, but am from Connecticut, and he still does my California returns. I mail him everything, and he takes care of it. His office is very nice, and his staff is friendly. He files everything electronically, and you can get your tax return money back via direct deposit. I highly recommend him if you need your tax returns done.

We have Frederick Parmalee as our accountant for 4 years, in fact we recommended him to many of our…read morefriends and family members who became his clients, because he is a nice guy, but I guess being "nice" is not the right characteristic for choosing an accountant, because in 2010 when we got hit with an IRS notice, Parmalee was nowhere to be found. My husband called him in many occasions and left messages explaining the situation but we never got a call back. Long story short, my husband had to go over our 2010 tax return and figured out that Parmalee had shorted our income by $8,000! No wonder why we got a return that year... Now we are also being hit by the CT revenue service for the same issue I assume, and we must pay CT almost $1400 of which $400 are interest and penalties. So yes, hated his service and would not recommend to anyone.
