Full disclosure, I'm a member here. I chose to be a member for a few reasons:…read more 1. The Pastor (Matt Farinela) teaches the Bible as it comes. No picking and choosing, no jumping around to fit an agenda, just good expository preaching. 2. Matt does a good job trying to take the Bible in context and not apply his own thoughts and feelings where they don't fit or aren't appropriate. He does this purposely and prayerfully. 3. The members endeavor to be a family for each other, and try to fellowship often (this has been difficult during COVID). The past 9 months have been very challenging for all churches with COVID, but Foundation meets in a gymnasium in a currently unoccupied building. 100 or more people can comfortably attend without hitting 25% capacity, and social distancing is abundant and easy to observe. Ultimately, I personally want you to put your faith in Jesus Christ. If God has planted you in another church, try to grow where you're planted. But if you want to hear the Gospel, be changed and grow, come here. It'll resonate in eternity.

Great Biblical preaching and teaching in all the services. Pastor Matt preaches verse-by-verse to…read moreget us God's Word in the correct context. I have never felt like just a number in this church; this feels like a church family. There is a true sense of community and belonging. My kids have been loved and supported and valued as members of the church, not just tolerated or babysat.

There is absolutely no religious pressure here. Everyone is accepted and welcomed, unless you walk in with a bunch of ninjas and unicorns, then we might question your intent. Otherwise, you will very likely enjoy visiting and being part of this great community!

That postcard led us to attend their Issaquah location (Redmond is their main campus) and the Issaquah location opened up late last year as well. It's located in the theater/stage of an elementary school, and they provide childcare services for pretty much all ages. I still remember attending the first time and I was impressed. People were so welcoming, friendly, and I felt comfortable. Pastor Ben Sigman (lead) is hilarious. I pretty much laugh at every single joke he cracks, and I enjoy how they incorporate a funny clip right at the beginning of the service, (like from a TV show) transitioning to the message and starting off with a laugh. There are many things I really enjoy about Timberlake, and I can see that they much great attention and detail to make everything come together. Rusty (Assoc. Pastor) is a great guy, and has offered to help my bf and I with some coupling services--great resources and small groups for everyone. Recently they just added a second service, in order to accommodate more people attending. Services are roughly about an hour long. Oh yes, can't forget about the yummy Krispy Kreme donuts, apples, bagels, o.j, coffee they serve :)
