At the time of payment, the credit card authorization failed. After the fact, a few hours later, i learned it was due to a problem with the contactless payment. I obvisouly had money in my bank account ! The cashier was rude with me. There was no possibility to try again, inserting the card and typing the code. She gave me a nasty look, expressing contempt for me, telling me "no money, no money". No hello, no goodbye, no politness and respect ! No need to ask for a cordial smile. I was considered a piece of s**t. Tourists deserve as much respect and consideration as Czechs.

I visited here to grab some milk before heading back to my hotel. I was intrigued to find that a large number of negative reviews for this business are from tourists, so it does appear there could be a difference between how tourists and locals are treated. The supermarket is a decent size, and the stock is good, especially for a city centre location. I was able to find what I came in for and managed to get in and out of the store fairly quickly, only having to use the Google Translate app on my phone to ensure I had the right product. Prices seemed in line with other stores of the same nature from my visit to Prague, not too expensive or cheap. The store is open until 11 pm daily which is useful, while it is common practice for convenience stores to open until 11 pm in the UK, I did notice this to be uncommon in Prague, which doesn't have a great number of stores of this kind anyway, compared to other major cities in Europe. I personally found the staff members to be rude and unhelpful, and not open to interact and help customers throughout the shop floor and at the self-service checkouts. I did feel ignored, but that was okay. 3*

It's a…read moredepartment store with a ton of clothing items, accessories, home accents, fragrances etc. They even have a bakery area with freshly baked cookies etc. Of course I had to check out this store since they were having a nice winter sale while I was visiting. I really liked a light blue winter coat but the other location didn't have small sizes. They said they can't see in other locations what their inventory is. That was a bit inconvenient but nonetheless I didn't give up and found it in this location after visiting one other Marks & Spencer location. This one is located in the Palladium shopping center and is slightly larger in size compared to the other two locations I went to. Happy shopping.~
