I found out about Veldrom via one of the partners at my fitness center 37Grad Fitness. He knows that I'm very particular about my bikes and the parts on them. As it happens, I had to buy a bike in a hurry (it's a long story). I skeptically walked in to Velodrom and kind of laid out my budget and what I wanted in a bike. He showed me a few (he's got Specialized, Casati, Pinerello, Steppenwolf and more) and also laid out some options for building up a bike from scratch. He offered to give me a great deal on a wonderful Casati carbon/steel with 2 year old Carbon Campy Chorus which was a bit over my budget but a killer deal considering what was on the bike. I ended up buying it! Matthias has an immaculate shop in a beautiful old house right on the edge of Bad Aibling. It's easy to get to, he's super helpful and knowledgeable and very, very friendly. He carries some of the nicest brands on the market in both road and mountain along with kids, touring, commuter, etc. He's also willing to order things and has a great shop. read more
