We stumbled upon Radlager while walking around looking for a coffee and some lunch. As it happens, I'm a freak about bikes and coffee so the combination of the two is always a good start. Plus, they make a really great sandwich to boot. The review doesn't need to be long to say the following. Some of the best coffee I've ever had. A fantastic sandwich both times we were there. I came in here on a rainy afternoon this October and really enjoyed it. The coffee was good, the music was great, and the woman working was incredibly patient with my terrible German! It seemed like a spot that a lot of young people tend to hang out at, and I will probably be back to hang out again. Free wi-fi is definitely a plus! read more

Just love it. Really cool place. The coffee is great and the staff nice and know what they are doing (in terms of waiting on tables and making coffee). The brownies and cakes were delicious. I wish more places would plaster their walls with artworks like they do here. I really enjoyed that, even though they were not exactly my cup of tea. But not bad either. The paintings (and/or photo manipulations - didn't look at them up close) get a separate rating ranging from 3 to 4. ;) But the seating is uncomfortable and most importantly, the cheese in my "mushroom melt sandwich" had not melted. In fact, the whole stuffing was fairly cold. It did have a lot of potential when it came to the taste though. Which is why I didn't even bother sending it back. I was really hungry and it did hit the spot. I can only imagine that when actually served warm, it must be really good. I'm not so sure about the price/performance either. 6.90€ for that sandwich (of course you should check out the current prices on their website, not rely on this or the photos here) seems like quite a premium price to me. On the other hand, their "Käferbohnensalat" for 4.90€ at least looked alright to me. I feel like the sandwich should cost roughly the same. Maybe a tad more would still be OK. On another positive note though, they did bring us a whole jug of water, which I consider an excellent perk for any given place that is really more about food than drinks to me. read more

I was lucky that this place is right next to my apartment. What a delightful surprise that they serve the coffee from my favorite roaster in Naples - MEXICO. The vibe is friendly (hey, people with bikes go here), the coffee drinks excellent (I have them make me a very short double shot cappuccino in the morning, twice, an excellent start to the day). Some breakfast options and small dishes but basically a great place to hang out with friends (or alone) and enjoy really good coffee. read more

Amazing concept and had a good experience my first time stumbling upon this shop. Second time...not so much. I asked for a "latte" and got laughed at, even though it's "latte" on the menu. Yes, I'm American and probably said it with my accent, which isn't common, but there's no need to insult me. I would t rear anyone that way who was visiting America. It was quite upsetting. I left and blamed not having cash for my quick departure. Not a good way to welcome those from other countries. read more
