    Breakfast Buffet

So conveniently close to the Central Station. Incredible views (if you get a room with a view). Very kind and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet (extra charge) is probably one of the most amazing one I have been to.

Our favourite hotel, but what have they done to it...I am being very, very generous keeping at a 4* Nearly a year ago we stayed here as usual - but this time it was after our wedding in Sigtuna, while we visited friends and family Where to start...the 16th floor...it was all being redone...but we knew that beforehand We checked in, went to our room, unpacked, made coffee and...no working wifi, not till tomorrow. We bundled everything up and they moved us to a room along the corridor, which had...no working phone or safe - to be fixed...tomorrow They have turned a well-kitted out room into something that is now industrial and supposedly functional, but not practical. You could say its for the businessman...but what if its businesswoman! or if like us, you were staying a good number of days One drawer for clothes, a hanging space (see photos), meaning you have to pile clothes on what is now supposed to be where you put the suitcase. How could you hang your dresses or coats (especially in winter)? And, as you can see from the photos, you almost have to "walk like an Egyptian"... And the aircon was no more warm than cool - and noisy...and one of the new picture panels had screws in but it didn't fit The Hotel shouldn't have released the rooms so soon - and why change them to this?! We told the people on the desk - none of them understood, as none had been to see the rooms. They promised every day that someone would fix the aircon - they never did. We reminded them, they sent us fruit and things - nice, but still noisy = no sleep; and cold We did have a meal there one day - and it was super; main course and dessert, really good. Breakfast is always good. And of course a night cap in the bar upon return has always been the norm. The staff everywhere are always very good My wife has been there recently - no change to the room make up (and the staff still weren't aware what their rooms looked like)...but apparently they are about to redo the big entrance hall, the lovely bar and the dining area; switching it all around We return in 2 weeks time; will it be finished - and what will it be like? The hotel has great views, its very handily placed for our needs and we have been coming here for years...its always been good in every respect...we don't really want to go elsewhere Oh, but the one thing that has bugged us forever...if things are being changed downstairs, please can we have someone a bit more cheerful announcing the lift floors; the current voice is so miserable - its being miserable that keeps her happy, especially when she drones "going down"!

Swanky hotel located in a convenient location in Stockholm opposite the Central Station where trains from the airport (Arlanda) and trains ofrom other parts of the city converge. Fabulous breakfast in hotel that takes every item up a notch in quality and flavor. Rooms make intelligent us of space. Uber cool eateries and bars onsite.

A really nice hotel located in the city of Stockholm very close to the central train station. If you get off the Arlanda express and follow the signs to Waterfront Conference center through the main station and take the escalator up its very close and a 5 min walk to the hotel. Just remember to stay within the train station past Lucette Cafe and not come out. The hotel is attached to the conference center and can be quite busy during peak check in and check out times. There is a bar and restaurant in the hotel which I did not try but it was busy every time I walked by. Around the corner you have nice dining options in nearby buildings or within the train station complex itself. Lucette, Wagamama and Griffins Steakhouse are three very nice options for a meal or drinks. The rooms are nice and well appointed. The bed is comfortable and the service is good. It is also relatively quiet and peaceful here. I enjoyed my stay here and was very happy with the room and it's cleanliness and so on. A nice hotel to stay in town. It's conveniently located close to the main parts of the city center.

Lots and lots of choices including breads, meats, cheeses, smoked salmon among many others. There is also a restaurant called Sothi's Kitchen which I will also review here as YELP does not list it separately. I ordered a very nice dinner and lunch: Caesar Salad with chicken and Haloumi cheese a favorite cheese of mine. I also ordered the Risotto with haloumi for dinner and that was a tad on the salty side. The avocado was very nice with a marinated egg on top. The hotel is well situated to access a lot of downtown Stolkholm, buses and Ubers are plentiful. The hotel was very reasonably priced along with the food offered at the restaurants. The beautiful breakfast buffet is included in the price of the room. My only negative comment was the bath tub was quite narrow, and very slippery. Difficult to maneuver for someone tall like I am. I mentioned this to the front desk and they reported many people have commented about this concern. Yes, so what are you doing about it? Maybe some bathtub mats are in order as one of the people in our group fell getting out. In America they would have been sued already, let's hope they remedy it soon to make this the perfect place to stay while vacationing in Stolkholm. Did I mention we were a group of over 50, and the staff checked us in and out quite efficiently. Even provided a take away breakfast for our early flight. Very nice Courtyard Marriot.

Also, it is literally right next door to the Rådhuset T-Bane stop. The lobby is gorgeous, and attracts cool people to its hotel bar. The service at the front desk was helpful and friendly, and they made me feel right at home. The double rooms are small by American standards, but about average for European hotels. Everything looked clean with elegant lines, and was pretty much everything I needed. I checked out the workout room and the pool - the gym was ok with decent machines, but the pool was a bit small. You definitely wouldn't feel comfortable sharing it with another family, but would be lovely if you had it all to yourself. The breakfast buffet was large with a lot of variety, and the front desk helpfully warned us to stay away from 9-10, as this is the time that most of the boat tourists come to breakfast. Outside those hours, there is plenty of room and food.

It contained many seating areas including benches with tables, sofas, and chairs. The welcome desk is right in the middle and there is an option to self check in as well if you have all your information. Once you head to the elevator the dinning room is on your left. The elevators are interesting since they are all different sizes. On my side you can fit 2-3 people while the other side have bigger elevators which can fit up to 5-6 people. It is hard to figure out which elevator you're gonna get and a struggle when you have lots of people with luggage. The rooms were a decent size for three people. It had two twin beds pushed together and a sofa bed which was super comfortable. Everything was neat and clean. Would definitely recommend this for a couples getaway place!

Few snacks and beverages, and consistently ran out of coffee (Nespresso pods) everyday that we were there. The other guests, especially business travelers, were not happy with this. In addition, to get your 2 complimentary drinks each night, you had to order at the bar, but they would not serve you there -- instead you had to wait back in the lounge. Just an odd setup. Biggest perks: great location with easy access to sites and transit, and the breakfast buffet was plentiful and never had an issue snagging a table.

Another cool thing about them is that during the months of May through September, they run on solar energy and geo thermal heating and have received an eco star for their green ways (you can get all the details on their site or the tag in their bathrooms). Their breakfast is just a regular buffet style one but I have definitely seen worse breakfasts so was pretty happy with it. CONS: They charge for wi-fi (approx 110 SEK for 24 hours) which I find just to be ridiculous. I could have easily found another hotel for approximately same price AND closer to the center that had free wi-fi for it's customers. AND, had they had wi-fi, I would have checked in to the place via Yelp and seen that they didn't have any pics up and would have then taken and posted pictures of their fabulous lil hotel. They DO have a computer in the lobby which has internet but you normally have to wait for whoever is on there which can sometimes take a while. They are NOT the closest to the central area. About 30-40 minute walk from the main attractions. There are some closer hotels.
