Call center does not resolve problems that they created nor was there record of who was supposed to straighten out their scheduling error despite the fact that all calls are recorded. In fact, the unknown person who was supposed to resolve the issue and CALL ME BACK went to the recording of my original phone call with an agent and indeed confirmed that the call center changed the location of my appointment without notifying me. Then they told me I could not get me into the original location. This forces me to possibly reschedule the doctor's appt. who is treating the problem and delaying care. My frustration with Radiology Associates is compounded by the fact that they misdiagnosed me several months ago claiming nothing was wrong when in fact, I had a broken pelvis.

The staff in the front deals with people who are not tablet savvy, and many are elderly, so often times they end up patiently helping them through the questions every patient must answer. It is hard to be efficient dealing with such a mix of people. IMO As for staff in the back, they are great. Efficient. Helpful. They give quality non judgmental care. The experience is exactly as it should be. This office is convenient and I'm grateful to have one so close to my home.

The front desk receptionist was RUDE not only to me, but all the other patients in there. These poor elderly people don't know how to work your stupid technology sign-in, & she made everyone feel we were bothering her. She had no manners, patience or decency towards anyone! The lady who came to get me for my exam called my name, did NOT introduce herself, body language, her tone, she moved slower than a turtle, but proceeded to ask me with the worst attitude if I was aware that I was to arrive 30 minutes before my exam. I told her that I was told to arrive at 8, I got there at 8:02, I checked in on my phone & I was not aware that I needed to check in when I got there as well, the only reason I did ask the rude front desk receptionist was because I over heard her telling people that they had to check in when we got there ALSO, (which is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of), so I checked in, so of course it looks like I'm really late. She says to me, "yeah, thats the problem, people don't know that, but here in the back, all we see is that you arrived late, and now we are behind" HOW IS THAT MY FAULT!!!??? I told her I did not appreciate the attitude! Mind you my 6 month old nephew crawls faster than this lady walked, maybe if she moved a bit faster, they wouldn't be behind! I don't know, just a suggestion. When we finally get to the MRI room, she tells me to lay down on the table & scoot up, offered absolutly NO assistance, I may not look disabled, BUT I AM, & I do need assistance, but even if I didn't, she should still offer! It is freezing in those rooms, I have always been offered a blanket, not this time, so I asked for one, she got annoyed and just kind of tossed one over me. I have been a nurse for 20 years, and a disabled patient for the past 7 years, I have seen a lot, but this kind of unprofessionalism is uncalled for. I was literally crying during my exam. She should not be allowed to treat people (sick, hurting people) this way. Now I will say, the lady sitting behind the computer running the MRI, was nice & professional! I was so relieved to see her come in at the end of my exam. She DID help me up & off the table. I will NEVER come back to this facility & I will NEVER recommend it to anyone!

Having moved here recently from up north, this seems to be a south Texas phenomenon as I've had to do this at the pain clinic as well. Never have we had to do this in Illinois. We get the approval from insurance, they do the procedure, we then pay at that time. Then, I get scheduled at the Portland office and, just an hour and a half before the appt. they call and cancel because they are still waiting on something from my insurance co. They then schedule me a couple of weeks out at the Corpus office which is far more inconvenient. I'm hoping to find another imaging provider in the meantime. I understand needing to earn their living but this is insane and very, very telling into what their priorities are.

My husband had triple bypass surgery and for the past 4 1/2 months, Medical Supervisors, Jenny, Jana, Lynnae and Mario, have helped steer us back to better health! These excellent health care specialists are expert at steadily increasing your physical well being. My husband was covered by our insurance to get through level 2 Cardiac Rehabilitation with heart monitoring. I pay $55 a month for level 3 workouts, vital sign information and expert observation by 4 Medical Supervisors. We recommend this program whole heartedly.

Which I have been told before but have also been told by 2 people that they could get me in sooner if someone cancelled; and both did call back when the opportunity arose to move my schedule ahead. So I'm not sure why some people can do it and others don't even know about it. I also asked the lady strapping me to the table " an you please tell me when you are in between breaks so I can take a breath". She said "you don't have yo hold your breath". I told her "yes mam, but I have a little anxiety about shallow breathing but cause I'm told not to move. Halfway through I start getting anxious from feeling claustrophobic. It helps if they say "ok we have a 10 sec break to take a breath" so I can feel like i could take a big breath and not feel so anxious. But they chose not to do me that little request. Also, they schedule your appt and then tell everyone to be there 30mins early. I assume it's to register, make sure they have a copy of ID and insurance and check in you in. Also because they are usually running a bit early. Well since I register online and they already have copies of my insurance and ID, all they have to do when I get there is check me in. I get scolded almost every time I come here because I'm not here at the SUGGESTED 30 mins early for them to click on some buttons that basically say "Tina's here". I dont get it. I'm still here early (at least 10-20 mins). On this visit I was on the parking lot by 20mins til my appt. and I hesitated getting out right away because I noticed an elderly woman trying to help her husband get out of the car in a wheelchair. They managed to get it after about 5 mins so I proceeded to go in. I came up to them at the door struggled with it so I hopped around from the back and opened the door for the gentlemen to push in his wheelchair then we waited for someone to notice us to check us in. They checked him in then came to me. I have I informed the lady that I registered online and they have a current copy of my ID and insurance card on file. She said "ok, ty, have a seat and we'll call you". When my name was called about 2 mins later, I was told "you need yo be here 30mins early for your MRI appts -"and your appt is in 6 mins". I told her "I apologize but I was technically here in the parking lot for 20mins before appt. And that I helped someone that appeared to be struggling before I came in and let them ho first. Also, I didn't think it would be as urgent for the 30mins since I completed everything online". She replied like she never heard me (or didn't care) "you need to be here 30mins prior to appt". I've never been scolded at a medical office when I'm always here by my appt time and almost early by at least 10 mins or more.

I tried to go to another local clinic before this one but I was essentially stonewalled by all the red tape that places like these seem to have. I made sure to check the website before calling and still, it claimed they do labs, xrays, etc. I felt ill, loss of appetite, and some other concerning symptoms and if you're traveling (and maybe even as a resident) it can be INCREDIBLY difficult to just get seen by a doctor/primary care provider if you don't happen to have one.... And as I've come to realize, it takes SO LONG! One local clinic (Community Action) has a MONTH long wait just for new patients. And another in corpus won't see any new patients until July!!! (It is currently March). Unless I have to be half-dead going to the ER, can no one see or help me?! I've read the Alice hospital reviews too and honestly it's just... highly concerning.... I almost feel like going to the hospital might be the only way to get seen sooner, but honestly it might just end up being just like this visit here at NextCare x.x they'll probably not take me seriously, I'll have to wait a million years, or they may not have the proper resources/equipment to help me! Since I moved from TX some time ago, I have an out of state ID and that alone is reason enough for certain local clinics to not help me or apply for certain programs they offer, and it sucks! My symptoms seemed to be worsening and persisting and I've tried to call, visit, and look up so many local clinics like this one and nothing is happening! So far, I've only been able to get some labs done... (at a different local clinic in Freer). it's such a hassle if I do even get lucky enough to get a "office visit" or whatever. Sorry if this is off track. Anyway, at this place I thought maybe they could do labs (since the website mentioned it) or maybe some other tests and that a doctor there could tell me what was wrong with me at least. But nope!!! I pretty much just came in, described my symptoms to at least two different people, and when I did finally see the doctor, she did very basic tests like taking my blood pressure and temp. I don't remember what else, but I think she measured weight too. She was one of the people I told my symptoms, but after those basic tests she essentially did nothing else but tell me to go to a primary care doctor and take suggested products, like two different over the counter meds and multivitamins. If I had known it was going to be like that, I wouldn't have gone!

This place is as simple as registering online and getting a text message 15 minutes prior to your estimated check in time. As I mentioned this place is brand new which it is super clean as well and service is fast. They take pretty much all insurances and they provide lab services as well as radiology services to. The joy of checking in and not having to wait in a waiting room with so many other patients in front of you is a joy in itself.
