Through an unfortunate series of circumstances, I found myself stranded on the side of the road in WV en route to a soccer tournament this summer. The primary issue was that I purchased bad gas. (That is another story.) My Kia stopped two hours from our destination. AAA suggested Rader's Towing. The owner arrived in a reasonable amount of time. On a nice side note, a WV Courtesy Patrol member stopped, offered assistance, and waited with us until the tow truck arrived. Upon arrival, the Rader's owner offered helpful advice about local car repair shops and suggested a Kia dealership close to our destination. He towed us for 2 hours and shared friendly conversation and automotive advice along the way. (It would have been much easier for him to drop us off at a nearby repair shop.) When we arrived at the Kia dealership, he waited with my son and me until the Uber driver arrived to take us to our hotel. In my opinion, Rader's went above and beyond expectations. I hope you are never stranded near Sutton, WV, but if you are, I recommend Rader's. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Triple A tried to set me up with these guys for towing-- not only did they give me an incredibly long wait time, but they were wildly rude as well. Additionally, the way I was spoken to because I am a woman was insanely demeaning. Vote with your dollar. Go elsewhere. read more

The gentleman had a very busy day, but he made sure to take care of my AAA call before the day was out, a very capable professional and the vehicle arrived in perfect condition. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in need (as there aren't many tow services in the area either). This is not the first time they've given me exemplary service, I've had many calls the past 10 years through AAA, and I've never had a problem or complaint. Unfortunately I told him I could access trunk which is where I put my keys and of course with the technology now a days you could not get in trunk. It started with a AAA roadside assistance call. I needed my vehicle towed. Got a call at 8pm saying he picked up the car. It takes 3 hours to reach the destination so I should have my car around 11:30pm - midnight. My car was delivered just minutes before 2am. The owner called me a liar to my face about the requirement of having a registration sticker on the license plate, which was repealed by PennDot Act 89, effective 12/31/2016. I let it slide and walked away while he lowered my vehicle. He did me a courtesy and pumped my flat rear tires. Fast forward to the next day, I realize my windshield is cracked and my bumper is bent from where the bottom dragged the ground while being loaded onto the flatbed. When discussed with the owner, he tried to blame the bent bumper on flat tires and him not having an air compressor. Weird for someone making a roadside assistance call not to be prepared for any situation and furthermore, If he delivered my car DIRECTLY to its destination, he would not have had an air compressor to add air to the tires AFTER the vehicle was taken off of the flatbed...but moving on. I call the company and explain the concerns. The owner annoyingly says "So what do you want?" To which I reply "I want my bumper replaced". He comes back with "its a used car, you're not getting a new bumper". Then he asked "how much do you want for this" as if I am prepared or qualified to provide an estimate for a replacement bumper plus paint and installation. The guy was completely unwilling to stand behind the service provided and wanted to offer a quick solution to get me off of the phone. The only proper solution would have been to ask for an estimate to repair/replace and pay for the damage that was caused. As of now, the incident is being investigated by AAA. I would not recommend them to tow a car, not even a mile down the street. read more
