Which, I'd been nervous about after I mistakenly went to a 'holistic' dentist for that, which cost so much, and took very long to redo. I had to go to a perio specialist, then to put my zirconia implant crown on, Dr Edwards did a whole procedure to do that perfectly. And I'm very grateful to him that I can now chew normally and not worry about it anymore. Being born without an adult tooth is no picnic, but luckily there are pros like Dr E to help us out with these things in life.

They are very skilled with cleaning, local anesthetics, and did an amazing job with my cosmetic dental work. I have also found rescheduling, and scheduling in general, to be much easier with this practice than others I've gone to. Bling is hands down the best dentist in Portland--and I can confidently say that after trying two others over the past eight years. Melissa is the best dental hygienist I've ever had: gentle, efficient, and so kind. The office itself is beautiful and calming, with TVs mounted on the ceiling so you can watch your favorite show during your cleaning. I watched Modern Family today, and Melissa didn't even mind when I laughed mid-cleaning! The front desk staff is equally wonderful--friendly, quick to answer the phone, and always helpful. I love that I can also text them, which came in handy when I needed to update my insurance recently--they responded right away. I am definitely someone who needs to build a rapport with my doctors so this was a major turn off from the start. But as someone who also hates finding new providers, I went back a few more times for cleanings. My most recent appointment was supposed to occur on a Monday morning. I was told that my appointment was canceled the Friday afternoon before (despite confirming it via text). I had already taken PTO to attend my appointment so to find out in the afternoon before they were closed all weekend was very frustrating. I was told the reason it was canceled was because my insurance had expired (I have a new insurance provider) and they decided to cancel it without getting a hold of me. Let's just say I will be looking for another provider going forward rather than rescheduling my appointment.

My hygienist knew what she was doing and didnt hurt my gums or mouth while cleaning. The doctor was bubbly and very friendly as well lol! Definitely enjoyed the experience. As a side note, I always find it funny that they love to ask questions when you have stuff in your mouth lol. Cons: the front desk check in was slightly annoying. I had to sign documents on a pad without seeing the screen. Sure they told me verbally & provided a clipboard with the document, but I wanted to see the actual screen to ensure I was indeed signing the right thing. When I told the lady this she seemed slightly annoyed but she did share her screen with me. I just had a previous experience where I was listening to someone read the document while I signed and they withheld certain info that cost me $4000. Very hard lesson to learn. She said well now you pay before the service I told her I was not informed of the change she said well you are informed of it now I have never been screamed at from a dental office personnel before I will never go back. I will never subject myself to that type of treatment and I will be filing a complaint. I would also like to have reviewed the work that my dentist has done on me to have it and verified that it was all necessary. i've never been told I had to pay $2000 before I sat down in the dentist chair. I'm not even sure this is legal and this is the first time I have been screamed at by a dental office personnel who I did not respect, this is definitely not very professional, nor is the new pay prior to visit professional.
