Thank you so much, Carla, you are a lovely and gifted practitioner! Reaching out to connect for two…read morereadings is one of the best decisions I've made! Reviewing my natal chart and solar return readings gave me courage to take steps into the unknown because the insights crystallized the knowledge that I am headed in the right direction. I can now be comfortable with uncertainty because Carla KNEW some things about my journey that she could not possibly have known (as we had never met before!). After our sessions, I have confidence that this is the path that I am meant to walk. Carla's warmth and genuine curiosity felt so safe and loving that she invited me to reflect on questions that I might normally brush past or answer without much thought. Carla was very thorough and detailed in both of my appointments, making sure to mention and explain everything she saw in my chart and stopped for questions. She was generous with her time and gentle with her questions - and she succeeded in aligning my conscious with my subconscious to allow for much-needed healing. If you want to enhance your astrology knowledge or simply understand the basics of how astrology can align you with your higher self, Carla will support you in your lifetime practice of self-mastery.

I've tried physic readings on a whim in the past for fun. It never amounted to anything useful and…read morewas always good for some light fun. I was out with my son during the Works in downtown Edmonton and impulsively popped into her booth for a tarot card reading. I didn't have any big expectations and just thought it'd be fun. Victoria is authentic and to the point. I really enjoyed her presence. She started off with the tarot reading asking me to shuffle and ask my questions in my head. Once she began I was speechless. I gave her my name and from that she was very specific with dates, people and issues going on. She needed only a nod or confirmation to continue. Sometimes her messages weren't clear so she would ask questions to figure out what the message may be pertaining too. Anyway, without giving too much away she was shockingly awesome. I do recommend getting a recording. It's extremely useful for memory. I made a long appointment with her after and received great value from it. If you want an authentic experience I would recommend her.

I originally booked a reading with VcToria out of curiosity. Given her many years of experience, I…read moregenuinely wanted to see her talents and what she could pick up about me. My advice to anyone considering a reading with her is: do your homework first and read her website carefully. Learn about her background, personality, beliefs, lifestyle and preferences before you book. I honestly think this is important in deciding whether she is the right psychic for you. If you are a very busy business owner, have a company to run, travel frequently, or simply live a very different lifestyle from hers, you may find that you are not a good match. She has a very strong personality and very firm opinions. My impression was that once she believes something is right, there isn't much room for another perspective. So if you are comfortable with someone who is very direct, strong-minded and set in her views, then you may enjoy your experience with her. For me personally, we simply weren't a good match. Sometimes you connect with a reader and sometimes you don't -- and in this case, I definitely didn't. I went there wanting to discover her psychic talents, but I left feeling that I learned much more about her than she learned about me. So my biggest recommendation: read the website first. Know who you're booking with before you go.

I happened upon this place quite by accident. Actually, I was online looking for writing contests…read moreand courses when I came across the page for the Writers Guild of Alberta. After spending a great deal of time looking through the site, I decided that I wanted to become a member. Since they don't take payment online, I went down to the office in the Percy Page Centre. It's a pretty small office but there was a desk just inside the door where I told the girl I wanted to sign up. While she processed my membership, she directed me to a library area. I felt right at home in the small office. There were some great reference books related to writing. Someone else in the office informed me that aside from the reference books, all other books in the library were written by Alberta authors. It was fascinating! I saw a few familiar names but a lot I'd never seen or heard of. It's great to know that there's so much literary talent in the province!

I was excited when we first went down and I was looking forward to making some connections. When we went into the centre, the person who was manning the front desk seemed very disinterested in us being there and didn't know much about her position. We were asking her questions and she didn't know the answer to any of them, After leaving the office, my family friend told me about all the perks that were involved in membership and I was pumped. It is now 2 months later and I have yet to find any worth in the $30 that was spent on the membership. I feel bad that I received membership as a gift from someone who was so excited about it, but it just doesn't do much at all. Yes, you can get discounts on retreats (They still cost upwards of $500) and you can go to lectures and talks from authors in Alberta which is cool, but I hear about enough of these through my school. You are supposed to receive monthly "Writer's Guild of Alberta" publication (I never received one) and weekly e-newsletters into your inbox (mine stopped 2 weeks ago for some reason). To sum up? I won't be reapplying for membership next year.
