These chaps helped us out with an emergency repair that enabled our medical team to keep going at the Tour Of Cambridge !! They were super nice and spent a good half an hour sorting us out and wouldn't take any payment !! Now How nice is that !! Left my car there Friday morning explaining I really needed it for work on Monday. I got a call saying it didn't look good but they'd give me a call Saturday morning latest once they'd checked something. I wait until about 10am and decide to call up myself to which I was told they were just checking it and they'd call me soon. Got to about 3pm and I still hadn't heard back so I tried ringing again, but this time it just kept ringing - I checked online and they shut at 12. I had no call and no way to get to work on Monday. If Ishy had just called me to let me know they didn't have time I would have taken it somewhere else. Instead he just turned off his mobile phone which I tried texting him on and ignored me. Terrible customer service - only excuse I got this morning was that I didn't book it in but that still doesn't stop them from calling me to let me know they'd be too busy. Been off riding motorbike now for over 10 years just returned last year my Suzuki sv is due a mot next month and not knowing what garages to use I decided to go back to R N motors over in Orton Southgate just returned home with a new mot. Had to respond after seeing the comment about the bike MOT. I have taken my cars to RN for over 20 years, right back to when Rose and Neville ran the business. I have never had anything other than the best service from these guys. Too many good experiences, including..... Rebuilt the head on my BMW 635CSi, and when I took it to a BMW specialist later, the compression across all cylinders was almost as good as new. Unjammed a stuck door on my Caravelle, welded my Beetle so many times it must have been all new metal in the end. They have fitted parts that I sourced for various VWs and the BMW. All my servicing is done there to manufacturer programmes, including diagnostics and resetting service indicators. Their tyre and exhaust prices compare favourably with the high street giants. They run a school for mechanic trainees in conjunction with the local authority, and are always available for advice. They have collected my car off the driveway, come out to me when I have broken down.... all round good guys providing a quality service at a good price. I have many many invoices to back up all the work they have done for me. read more
