The food is displayed at a counter, and it is served in front of you, you pick what you want, and there is a large selection with many traditional Bavarian options. I went for a slab of pork with potatoes smothered in bacon and some sauerkraut. The plate is then weighed, you pay, and then eat. The price is very reasonable.
