The venue features barista made coffee as well as many grab and go items. Opted for the full English breakfast and it was made to order. Eggs were tasty and the bacon and sausage were salty. The toast was good too. Latte was good. Nice layer of foam on top of a smooth shot of espresso. They also have bottles of water along with baked pastries available for purchase! There are tables to sit and a pager is provided when the food is ready!

Eateries in Newark and JFK could learn a few things from these folks.

We found this spot on the Finish tourism website and it did not lead us astray. We thoroughly enjoyed our tea time under the shady trees paired with vegan Karelian Finnish rice pies and a cozy Kohlrabi soup. They offered several other vegan pastries and even sold the rice pies frozen to take home. The staff was very friendly and the overall experience was leisurely and memorable.

It is in the basement of a house and has a few tables inside and plenty of seats outside, they serve excellent coffee under the supervision of the talented Finnish Barista Champion Kalle Freese. The coffee has been from Blue bottle in San Francisco but upon my last visit it was instead from Square Mile. Nice to see some variety in what is offered. When Kalle is working they do hand brewed coffee but there is also espresso based beverages as well as batch brewed filter coffee. They also have some wine on offer. The setting is very nice and relaxing and the service is pleasant albeit a bit slow. They do some very nice pastries and a real fresh and nice brunch with yogurt, fruit and granola, avocado on toast and a 63 degree egg. A place well worth visiting before they close at the end of Summer (hopefully they open next summer again).

It has gotten a fair amount for good publicity lately, and fair not, this gem also delivers. The atmosphere is happy and positive, and of course you get excellent coffee here. A café run by the passion for the art and making everyone happier deserves every one of the five stars. Any criticism? Not really. Arrive by bike, as there isn't much parking around. But even that is a positive, isn't it?
