We just had landscaping done by this company and I have to attest that we are more than happy! We were on a budget and Rafael the owner worked with us to do the very best job. He came over and we went over what we envisioned and were looking for. He gave us so many options and suggestions. Sent us pictures of bushes/plants/flowers so we would have a choice. I explained that I am not an avid gardener and do not have time in the day to spend planting and replanting so he gave plenty of suggestions regarding bushes and various plants that would require minimal maintenance. When he came over with his crew he made sure that the design we envisioned would look good. The bushes we wanted were not available in the nursery so he went to 3 different ones to bring the ones we really wanted. He also made sure that all the plants he purchased for us were fresh and from this season. The job took longer than we originally anticipated and it was really worth it at the end. I highly recommend him and will hire him back for all of my future landscaping projects as well as maintenance of the existing one. Thanks again! read more

Absolutely Amazing Experience! Honestly, I can't say enough good things about R. Duran's Landscaping Inc.! We needed a major cleanup of our backyard because the weeds, small trees, and shrubs had gotten way out of hand, and we wanted to work with a local, smaller company. We absolutely made the right choice! From the beginning, they were wonderful to work with and went way above and beyond what we expected. They didn't just clean up our yard--they also power washed our sidewalks and walkway, gave us our fire pit area back, made a beautiful addition to our back patio, cleaned our gutters, and power washed the entire house. We live by the river, so over time a lot of scum had built up on the siding. After they finished, our house honestly looks brand new! The attention to detail and the amount of work they put into everything was incredible. We are beyond pleased with the results and so happy we chose them. If you're looking for landscaping or outdoor cleanup, these guys truly do it all! We highly recommend R. Duran's Landscaping Inc. and will absolutely be using them again! read more

I am a first time customer of Duran Landscaping.Rafael and his crew were a pleasure to work with. He went above and beyond. We had discussed the he and his crew would do the spring clean up, edging, aerating and mulch the first or second week of April. When he was not able to make it to my place on Monday April 1st, which I was not expecting anyway, he stopped by my house and left a note and said that he would be there tomorrow. He called me the first thing the next morning and said he would be there at 8 am and was there promptly at 8 am. He noticed some bushes that needed to be trimmed and one bush that had died. He called me to ask if he could do the trimming and remove the bush and he did not charge me any additional. In this day and age of poor customer service and or attention to detail, Rafael and his crew are a breath of fresh air. Before I had a chance to recommend them to anyone my neighbor text me asking for his number because he saw what a great job he did. I have recommended him to all my neighbors. read more

Rafael and his team have done a phenomenal job with our landscaping. We did not know where to really start when we removed most of our landscaping in the front yard. It is clear that he is passionate about what he does and is invested in doing great work for his clients. Our front yard looks great! He was up front about what we needed to do to help our sod stay and also made sure he picked low maintenance plants for us that would return yearly along with some very nice looking bushes. They cleaned up the entire area and did it very efficiently. He even made suggestions to transplant some of our existing plants that worked out perfectly and helped improve the look of other areas of our yard. He did such a great job we had him come back and do some improvements with the backyard. His team is great. They leave nothing behind and get everything done so quickly. Can't wait to continue improving our yard with Duran's! read more

We couldn't be happier with the work Duran's Landscaping did! From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough, the entire experience was exceptional. Rafeal and his team's attention to detail, creativity, and professionalism transformed the outdoor space into something truly beautiful. The team was reliable, hardworking, efficient and communicated clearly throughout the project. We've received countless compliments from neighbors and friends. If you're looking for a landscaper who takes pride in their work, delivers on their promises, and creates stunning results, I highly recommend them. We are thrilled with the new landscape and look forward to working with them again in the future! read more

I would not recommend Duran Lanscaping in Wauconda. Raphael is the owner along with his brother. Rapheal is a smooth talker but watch out since he tends to overpromise and underdeliver with no qualms about it. He never shows up on time or on the day he promised. When called in again to see if he'll make it on the day, he matter-of-factly said he's just too busy now with other jobs now and I should find another landscaper. He tells you what you want to hear in order to get the job but ultimately does not deliver to the expectation he's set forth. My experience with them was poor at best. read more

What a pleasure it was to work with Rafael on our landscaping needs. His crew did the much needed spring cleanup, edging, and mulching of our flower beds and took out our old and overgrown front landscaping. Rafael made great suggestions on what would look nice as replacements and the end result is fantastic. He even added some spring flowers! He kept in contact with me throughout the process to make sure it was turning out to my satisfaction. His bid was reasonable and considering the high quality of his work, a real deal! I highly recommend Duran's Landscaping! read more

I used Rafael of Duran's landscaping for our spring cleanup this year. He came out promptly to give me a quote and completed the work within a week. He and his crew did a great job, taking care to mulch around the newly emerging tulips and daffodils. He also knew which bushes shouldn't be trimmed because of spring blooming. (We've had problems with other landscapers on this issue) I'd highly recommend Rafael and Duran's. read more
