I usually start off with the Duck Fois paté...it is heavenly and as silky as butter. It comes with plenty of toast points and a nice onion marmalade and a little bit of salad. Honestly, this could be a meal on it's own. I also got the steak tartar. It was described as made tableside but it came prepared. I prefer to make it myself because I like lots of capers. However, this was very yummy. The Dijon was a little sweet but it was good nonetheless. The service is fine..nothing exceptional but nothing to complain about and the decor is a little outdated but they have free WiFi so I won't complain. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. It's not a tourist spot but I have seen other foreign people like myself who are probably here for work. They even have a menu in English for us ignorant Americans. The server didn't speak English but we were able to communicate just fine. It is close to the mall and the Holiday inn Express so it's within walking distance for me. If you're ever in Saint Nazaire don't hesitate to stop by!!

No need to make a reservation on this Tuesday in June (but you can ... and probably should when it's busy), and we were seated right away. It was a bit cool outside, but we were sheltered from the wind. The four adults in our party ordered galettes, and all were delicious! Our 12-year-old chose the fried shrimp and loved them. We all had crêpes for dessert, and they were amazing! We were split between the homemade chocolate and the homemade salted caramel; I recommend the caramel! The staff was attentive, and professional but amiable. We had a lovely experience at Quai 34 and definitely recommend it.
