What a pleasant surprise from the norm! She ended up telling me to get right there that she would get me done before her next appointment. Wow, did she do a great job! She took the time to learn about my nails, what I do for a living to see how they would wear and what would suit best! I loved this since I've had it all done before and was on a "nail break". I figured, lets put him in the chair first. This was my son's first haircut with dad. A guys day out. But maybe this should be a mommy chore. My first impression of the shop was how clean, white, and new everything looked. It exceeds what I would suspect from a barber shop. Somewhat of a cross between a salon and barber look with seats lined up against the wall in a row, yet, there are magazines and color book laying near crayons. This was perfect for my situation. So, my boy went into the big boy chair. The stylist was more than happy to cut his hair. She traded friendly and understanding banter with him. He responded well to him. I asked her to style and spike his hair which she did. He looked like a little rocker. As for me, I just got my normal boring haircut and she did a good job at that. Not that there is much hair left up there. But, an experience like this makes me want to hold onto it for a year or two more so that I can take my boy for a haircut. They were even patient with my boy when he threw his little fits after my cut. Moreso than me. I highly recommend this shop. They do it well and are true pros at hair.

Anyway, he was very professional and down to earth. I was very comfortable. He didn't have an "ink snob" attitude like some other artists I spoke to before coming to Gold Syndicate. When I got there, he showed me what he put together with all the details and things I wanted like we discussed. He nailed it! Perfect! Also, THIS PLACE IS PRISTINE when it comes to cleanliness! The floors literally shine and sparkle, not a spec of dust anywhere. Not that I was checking, it's just so noticeable how clean it is. I've been to tattoo shops before visiting or whatever with friends, and this place is by far the cleanest I've ever been to! They even have a well stocked and updated snack machine just incase you need something. As this was my first tattoo, it was all new to me and I was very impressed with the atmosphere! It had a really cool creative vibe to it that I could appreciate. Now, it was time to get my ink... Sergio killed it! He captured everything I wanted and did INCREDIBLE work !! Like, holy smokes!! While waiting in the lobby, I saw an artist named Chris (i think that was his name) speak to a potential new client that was very timid and shy, he was so polite him and patient while he inquired about what he was looking for. I've been treated poorly in that process in the past elsewhere, so I noticed how kind they were. These guys know what they're doing. Thank you Gold Syndicate! And thank you for such a wonderful experience as I enter the world of ink. lol I'm never ever going anywhere else!
