The espresso here is definitely the best I've had on this trip. Definitely worth the 15 minute walk from the Leipzig Markt. Oh, and if you're lucky you will be helped by Leah, super friendly and speaks perfect English. She and Hanna let me know the coffee roasting takes place Tuesday's and Thursday's. Stumbled across this place and we loved their yummy breakfast option of poached eggs with avocado on sourdough bread with home made humus and harrisa (ok and some bacon)...which we ate every single day with some freshly brewed coffee. I've seen him dump out cups that he felt weren't up to standard, and watched him hand pick inferior beans out of his roasting batch. Amazing quality, friendly service, and the speak English! Don't expect a quick visit though. The staff here take their time and focus on the customer they are serving. It's worth the wait!
