Awesome deli section. I do like how clean and well organized the store is.. I wish my house looked as put together. They have a very nice and extensive pharmacy section; more selection than a lot of competitors nearby. I'm not sure whether that is to compete with London Drugs next door, but it is definitely a nice addition.. There is also a larger than usual bulk food section (Note, bulk here does NOT mean cheaper than pre-packaged.. ) Overall I still recommend, but I think they need to work on their pricing. I'm sure they make a lot of profit off college students, most of whom are walking distance, who haven't learnt how to shop for the best prices yet.

I seem to have visited this Safeway at an awkward time where they are transitioning ownership to Sobeys.. So they still have the Safeway Club Card sales and savings, except they no longer accept Safeway club cards.. Talk about contradictions. On the plus side, they now accept airmiles reward miles cards The deli section is expansive and of high quality, the staff are friendly, and many are old faces that have been there for years and years. I always give extra points to any business that has long term staff because if a business takes good care of their employees, then you know as a customer you will be taken well taken care of as well

An example of conversations I've heard while standing in line: Person 1: It feels like I could grow old and die in this line. Person 2: yeah, should we go to the college Tim's? Person 1: yeah, lets go. I give it 3 stars because I really like Tim's and I can't throw too much shade it's way, but honestly get that line moving.

Our server brought us our black coffee and water, while we browsed the seasonal menu for offerings. I ordered up a serving of the Bahn Mi Sandwich, which came with a side of plain chips/ a serving of pickles. Whilst my partner had a Quiche with Cheddar chive biscuit. The dishes were pretty flavourful and enjoyable, my first time trying Quiche & the Bahn Mi sandwich (which was pretty delicious, so good!). I plan to visit this cafe more often, their menu though small; seems to have some very interesting dishes.

Bacon cheeseburger delicious with very generous side of roasted potatoes Steak was quite well done ( not asked how we wanted it). Apparently they assume medium but it was well done.
