I was up in the area helping my some family move (which as you know, will lead anyone to drink) and stopped by to pick some things to drag back to my airbnb. I was truly shocked as I saw an amazingly well-curated collection of wines and spirits (I'm not a beer drinker, so didn't browse over there). What I'm about to say is not a criticism of smaller distilleries but sometimes their "bourbon" is a little smooth than I like, so subtle variations like this really add something to the drink. I can only imagine that his will lead the Old Fashioned Fundamentalists to march out in the streets in protest, but I'm perfectly good with that. Chocolate Old Fashioned go grab it. The location itself is bright and lovely and the barstaff has always been very friendly and helpful their knowledge and finetuning the drinks to what I like and don't like.
