The short of it is: My 80 year old MIL has been putting off getting a house cleaner for a very long time due to extremely high anxiety about, well, basically everything (and I mean EVERYTHING). Before finding Blue Rose Cleaning Services, I hadn't found a cleaner I felt would do the job in such a way as to reduce my MIL's anxiety. Cue Rosemeri! Oh my goodness. From the moment we spoke on the phone, I knew my MIL would be in good hands. Rosemeri explained the services offered, worked with me on the right balance of time spent on a deep clean and my MIL's school teacher retirement budget, and then set up a monthly service so that the house would stay in good shape. And then Marcelo and Hetielle!! These two people are just the loveliest. Absolute joy to be around. They do an amazing cleaning job and worked around my MIL's - shall we say, ever present and excitable - frenchie dog. And also put my MIL at complete ease. Okay, maybe not so short, but hopefully you can tell that I am truly appreciative and deeply grateful beyond words. I was quoted $220 with a $30 connivence fee since it was last minute. I agreed to the price and was told they'd arrive at 3:30pm. The employee didn't arrive till after 5 and after a strange encounter was told it would only take him an hour (which I thought was odd). I come back to the apartment to find him outside on a phone call - I paid the man and once inside the appliances were cleaned but my floors still looked like how I left them. It was dark and it had been a long day of moving. This morning I got a better look at the apartment and it was the worst cleaning job I've experienced. The counters weren't wiped down, my fan blades were still dusty, the blinds were still dirty, the floors were never mopped or swept, the list goes on. I contacted the owner to give her a chance to resolve this and she offered to come back on Wednesday to clean. I declined because I no longer have access to that apartment since I moved out. I was looking for a partial refund and was met with "I'm sorry you had a bad experience - I'll make sure to train my employees better". If you're looking to get ripped off I would say they're the people for the job. A $20 refund was offered on a $250 payment for a $80 quality job. I hope no one has the same experience.

I definitely noticed a difference on our floors and desk from the last cleaning company to KAV, where it felt like the last cleaning company would just dust around everything and wouldn't really clean. We would constantly be finding things that would never be clean, from our phones, shelves, desks and conference room.
