HIGHLY RECOMMEND PHOTOBOX!…read more Our wedding was this past weekend and we hired Photobox to provide their mirror photobooth services. Corby is awesome! From the start the communication was very easy. If I had any questions he was always willing to answer them. He arrived early in order to set up the photobooth and he let us know once the photobooth was ready to go to take pictures. My guests enjoyed the mirror photobooth and enjoyed the options he provided for props. Again, I highly recommend Photobox for any event you have. Thank you Corby (and Devon) for everything!

He will work with you until you find a design you love for your photo strip. He won't be happy until you're happy and he won't rest until he's sure you're satisfied. In addition to his many props, Corby also has the most variation. You name it, he has it. He also takes care of his props; they are always clean and intact. The best thing about Corby though, is not about his photo booth or props. It's his heart. He has such a good one. Everyone knows how chaotic a wedding is, it passes you by in such a blur. On the night of my wedding, we were so busy talking to guests that we didn't even have time to think about doing the photo booth. Out of nowhere, Corby comes over and pulls my husband and me away and before we knew it we were sitting in the photo booth. Not only did he do this once, but he did this each time I came back from a dress change. Talk about attention to detail. If it wasn't for Corby, we wouldn't even have photo strips from our own wedding. Thank you so much Corby!

While we were in San Francisco, my daughter and I visited Photomatica, which is both a photo booth…read moreexperience and a photo booth museum. We went on a Wednesday afternoon, and it was surprisingly busy. There were quite a few people there, so we had to squeeze around a little bit, but it was still completely worth it. We had already watched a bunch of TikToks and reels about Photomatica before we went, so we had a pretty good idea of what to expect. There are several different vintage photo booths, and they all print photos in different styles--some in color, some black-and-white, some sepia, etc. For us, though, the style of the photos wasn't nearly as important as the background. We really wanted the checkered background! Luckily, that booth was in the second room. If you go in and only look at the booths in the first room, make sure you keep exploring because there are another three or four machines farther back. Each booth costs $7.50, and you get three or four pictures depending on which machine you choose. One VERY important thing to know is that you only get a few seconds between each picture, so have your poses ready! We actually practiced a little before putting our money in because once the countdown starts, you don't have much time to figure out what you're doing. You can pay with Apple Pay, which was super convenient. After taking our pictures, we had to wait for them to print. Since the photos are freshly printed, they recommend using a hair dryer to dry them so you don't accidentally smudge or mess them up. It was honestly part of the fun of the experience! We also decided to make our photos into keychains, which ended up being my favorite part. I bought two so my daughter and I could each have one. You use one photo strip for each keychain, and when you purchase one, you also get to choose a charm. There were only three charm options available when we went, though, and they were already running low on one of them, so don't get your heart set on a specific charm. You sit at a table and cut out your photos so they fit perfectly into the keychain. They also had these little photo sleeves/folders that you could use if you weren't making a keychain. I noticed that the fine print on ours said "San Francisco," so I cut those pieces out and added them to the keychains. They fit perfectly and made them feel like an actual San Francisco souvenir rather than just a photo booth keychain. Another really cool bonus is that when you purchase a keychain, they scan a copy of your photos and email them to you. So you get to take home the physical souvenir AND have a digital copy. My daughter and I both agreed that Photomatica was one of our absolute favorite things we did in San Francisco. It's such a fun step back in time, and there's something really special about getting to experience an old-school photo booth instead of just taking pictures on your phone. Of all the souvenirs I've collected from my travels, this is hands down my favorite. I carry the keychain with me every day, and every time I see it, I get to remember our trip and the fun we had making it together. If you're visiting San Francisco, I highly recommend stopping at Photomatica. It's inexpensive, unique, interactive, and you leave with a souvenir that actually means something. My daughter and I had so much fun, and it's definitely a memory I'll treasure!

Too much fun and totally worth the wait and the money. My husband and I went on a Saturday around…read more6. The line was longgg! It was consistently moving and ended up taking us 35 minutes to get in. The place is small with 2 rooms. There are 5 black/grey booths in the first room and 3 booths in the second room, one of them being a colored one. Each booth is about $7.50 each and prints take a few minutes to dispense. We got about 10 prints and spent about an hour in there. All of the people crowding the machines are often just waiting for their prints and machines open up quickly. We had an issue with one of our prints not dispensing and a staff member opened the machine and helped us get it. It was a little mangled so they offered a pass to retake the photo which was really appreciated. Staff were super helpful and kind. Along with the prints you can also buy diy keychains for $10 and it comes with a charm and free emailed scan(so if you want to post your photos!)
