I also needed the width of the gate widened because originally they made the opening too narrow, so they were able to widen the opening before the rest of the fence was installed. I appreciate them checking with me halfway through the project. A few weeks ago one of the posts was failing I put in a warranty claim. They came out quickly and replaced it. Yes, they did reach out to us once in a while before we officially signed, (took us a bit to figure things out) but seemed like the normal type of sales check ins. In the end, we decided to move forward with Cool Cat and had a pretty decent experience with them. Yes, they're a bit more pricey than some others but we felt like overall the quality seemed better. The communication was a little spotty in the sense of being bounced around from project managers throughout the process. I don't believe the PM we were speaking with was there during fence installation. I'm thankful that they were pretty responsive with us when we had questions. In the end they did a great job and were happy with the fence. They worked quickly and efficiently and didn't leave a mess thankfully. They installed a turnbuckle for our gate which was a nice addition too. Gene was the main guy for the project and he did a great job!

He showed some good photo examples of his work, and answered my questions well. Also chose him because his pricing was in the middle. His work speed is very fast and the quality of the wood he brought was overall great high quality, not perfect, but great. After completion my neighbor and I did point out a couple things we either wanted changed or fixed. Humberto stayed a few more hours to make those changes. The fence is fantastic and Humberto did a great job at a fair price. If you have any specific design needs, it's best to have it typed out with photos in messenger, and also review in person when the work starts. So not happy with our fence & gate. I got multiple quotes & went with this company. I stated I…read morewanted the fence the same height as the old one - it was built considerably taller. Completed before I could check & counter - so I just went with it. Looking down from the top, post caps were put on askew & trellis rails not nailed down properly. After about a year, multiple posts warped. Those were fixed. Now my gate is completely off & unusable as the post has split. They refuse to fix. Lesson - the warranty doesn't really cover much. While it does state "5 year warranty on all posts" it also states that they won't cover "Swelling, sagging, shrinking, warping, cracking or splitting of wood". So what does the warranty cover? Our old fence stood for well over 15 years without issue.
