I had routine labs drawn at this facility and was charged $60 at the time of lab draw for a lipid panel and b12 test. Two weeks after the initial blood draw I received notification I was being charged $22 MORE for services not covered by my insurance. I had these labs drawn at another St.Pete Quest location 3 months prior with no out of pocket charges or issues with insurance. No changes to my insurance, yet I'm charge $80+ for 2 routine tests? I took my wife to the 6800 Gulfport Blvd S Ste 115 South Pasadena, FL 33707 location, which was remodeled. We were there early for a 7:30 am appointment. The lady who was going to be drawing my wifes blood came out to get us. I said boy this place has changed a lot without even acknowledging my small talk she said go into room 1. I thought that was rude, but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. Nope she was very straight forward, (almost militant) nothing but business like we were bothering her. Her attitude was unpleasant during the whole experience and then she hurt my wife twice, once when putting the rubber band around her arm that she let out a screech and then when she jabbed the needle into her arm, which was sore for the rest of the day especially when she tried to stretch her arm out. My wife sees many doctors throughout the year for many years due to health problems, so she is used to having her blood drawn many times a year without being hurt. just poor bedside manner. This person needs to be retrained for taking blood and also for bedside manner or moved to a desk job. read more

Maybe put in a notification telling people that the whole parking lot is closed and under construction. I made an appointment for after 10 am. The check-in was efficient but the waiting room still quite full. After half an hour, I was called in for the blood draw. My tech was Michaela Sandoval and she was downright rude. I had my doctor's order attached to an email. She gave me her email address and then shooed me out of her office as if I was a nuisance. I tried to send the email outside her office but she followed me out and forced me to sit in the nearly empty waiting area for another ten minutes. She was awful. One of the most brusque individuals in HC that I have ever encountered. AVOID. read more

While I had a very quick and efficient blood draw today, it was a little too quick. The phlebotomist was pretty rough and I ended up bleeding quite a bit in my bandaid and I had a really bad bruise/lump at my vein. This has never happened to me bf and I've had my blood drawn many many times. I would not go back to this place. read more

This is my 2nd visit, check in was easy through an electronic tablet, short wait when you have an appointment and the staff is professional and helpful. The waiting area and clean and modern, nicely updated. I give this location only 4 out of 5 stars for there is one person at this location that is not the best at drawing blood and left my friend's arm with a huge bruise. I like the quality of work that has been done with me;hence, I am returning to this location. read more

This place is terrible. I made an appointment for 9:45am. Upon arrival I checked in using my iPhone at 9:44am I went to the door and after having to wait in a line for a lady to check the temp on my head I was allowed into the facility. I looked on their electronic board to see when my name would be called. At that moment it said 30 minutes. Are you kidding me; what is the purpose of setting an appointment? Bunch of liars! So I had to go back out to my car because all the seats inside were taken and wait. I will never use them again. Labcorp just won my business. read more

Go early if you don't have an appointment. They get busy quick! That being said, they are very efficient at this location. I waited maybe 15 or so minutes before being called back. After having the blood drawn, I had a vasovagal reaction where I felt nauseous, lightheaded, and hot. (This is just how my body reacts - nothing against the phlebotomist.) Natasha (and Vicki?) were amazing and so kind to me. They got me water and helped me to a recliner to lay down for a bit. Despite how busy they were they kept checking on me to make sure I was okay. Was very impressed with the service at this location today. Did not have an appointment as needed fasting blood work done ASAP. Planned on spending at least an hour or so waiting as have had to do with other labs when you do not have an appointment. The self service checkin was self explainatory. Immediately it showed on the screen how long the wait would be. It started out at 48 min and we were called at 12 min. The phlebotomist had all of the information she needed, very professional and pleasant. We were out in less than 45 minutes from the time we walked in. read more

This facility has recently gone through renovations to supposedly make things better and more efficient! Well too bad they forgot to tell the workers that! This place is a joke you sign in and sit down to wait for your name to be called, which shows on a screen the order you will be called back! I guess to make it look like they have short wait times but all they do is take you back and check your orders and send you back out to wait again but your name is not on the screen anymore so your wait can be long! Then when you finally get called back and ask if you owe for this service they won't tell you they say ask your insurance company! Not a pleasant place and inadequate service! The blood draw is fine but the last two times there they didn't send all the labs ordered. Calling them you always get a long message, ask you to leave a message and then the mailbox is full. The technician was friendly and personable and apologized for slight delay in loading computer orders that were unnecessarily separate as entered by my doctor's office. Had to go in for some routine lab tests. Well, here's the tip of your lifetime! Go right before the holidays! There wasn't a single customer in there, but me! I was in and out in 15 minutes and the staff was so bored, they doted all over me! I loved it! Plus Quest is a Six Sigma lab (meaning they get quality right 99.999% of the time), so I trust their process and products. You can schedule appointments online via an iPhone app and also get your results on your phone! I just love electronic health records! read more

I came in to this center because the two locations by my house were closed due to "the roof caving in" and another interesting excuse. When I walked in the two women (and that's being polite) glared at me while they continue to talk inappropriately about a patient who had just called in to ask about labs. These two women continued to trash talk patients the entire time I was in waiting to drop off my tests (which took 45min) (TO DROP OFF A BAG) thy couldn't give me any answers to questions I had instead they blew me off rudely and continue to ignore patients trying to check in while they bad mouthed the patient who had previously called about her tests. Oh I forgot to mention how incredibly filthy this facility was. I will never have my tests done here again because they ended up losing them and I had to retake them anyway. I took my daughter in for blood work. The person drawing her blood was short to the point of being rude. The place was a mess because they were remodeling and the electric flicked off as my daughter was having her last vial filled. The lady drawing her blood curtly said, "You can go.." and threw the vial into a pile with the rest of the filled vials she had taken. She turned and walked away to go solve the electric problem. All of the blood and paperwork was left out unattended. So we left without so much as a goodbye or thank you...or a receipt. Hopefully the tests will make it back to the pediatrician. I've been to other Quest locations and had a great experience. It seems like the workers at this location are disgruntled and I wouldn't go back. read more

By all means, get an appointment. They say they welcome walk-ins, but the wait is long. I had an appointment, and, after checking in, my name was first on the electronic board, and it gave an estimated wait time of 2 minutes. I had to wait over a half your to be seen, despite the apptmt. They took one person ahead of me, and this client had been listed further down on the board. When I asked the person at the desk why I was waiting, she told me to sit down and I would be called soon (NOT!). They then call another person who was well below me, and inquired more loudly. It turns out there was no communication between the front desk and the staff. How can this be? If you only do one thing, and do it all day, you should get it right. I complained to the phlebotomist about the process, and she said it was not a problem, because it was not like I had to wait 2 hours. Apparently this is their standard. Staff were complaining to each other about someone who was manipulating the check-in process so she could get a raise. Place is chaotic with unmotivated staff I will not go back there. read more

I went to the South Pasadena Florida for blood work. I had tried to call multiple times the day before to check if my doctor had faxed over labs, but there is no receptionist. So on Saturday morning, I checked in on an IPAD because there was no receptionist. The phlebotomist called me back, he had no orders or information on me because there is no receptionist. He was polite and professional, however, corporate has decided that it can't pay someone 10 whole dollars an hour to answer phones, so I wasted my time waiting and I wasted the phlebotomists time when he could have been taking care of patients who had orders. But none of this was known ahead of time because there was no receptionist. Do you think maybe you could invest more in patient satisfaction than your CEO's bank account and pay someone 10 whole dollars an hour to answer phones and check people in. While the phlebotomist had good customer service skills, your corporate obviously does not. read more

Gulfport FL location is TERRIBLE. Ridiculously lazy staff arguing and yelling through the office, faulty check in system, rude phlebotomists, and dirty bathrooms. One bright spot is the Latina phlebotomist who attended to my husband. She needs to get a job someplace worthy of her. The others are woefully unprofessional. When I asked why I had not been seen yet, i was treated very rudely and told to sit down! The woman that helped me told me she needed my credit card because this was the new protocol and when I told her I had insurance and did not have a co-pay she said not to worry because either way I would receive a bill and nothing would come out of my checking account without my approval first.... well that wasn't true because they withdrew $47 out of my account today! The place is filthy and I am disappointed in myself that I let several people treat me this way and didn't leave this hell hole immediately!! I' m contacting BBB! The person that drew my blood, has very poor training. She randomly placed the needle into my arm without feeling for a vein or putting the usual rubber strap around my arm. I didn't think anything of it at the time, since I was so nervous about the needle. She completely missed it, but didn't stop, she drew the blood, which was extremely painful and caused a major dark purple bruise that wraps all around my arm. This is day 4 after visiting this place for just a routine blood work order and my bruise is still as large as day one. Where she injected the needle hurts to the touch. This is not normal and I would advice to stay away from this location. I've never in my life experience such poor work ethics. I don't really think she cared and she will most likely continue to hurt others if she is not sent back to training. I have contacted their corporate office about this and I do hope they get back to me. It is unacceptable that I have to walk around hiding my arm and feeling injured from such a simple procedure. read more
