They have an easy online scheduling tool and take all your information including pictures of your insurance cards and license so everything is already entered when you go in. They are appointment only on the weekend, but walk in during the week. I had been planning to get a rapid test, but was pleasantly surprised when they told me they are able to do covid PCR testing same day (as long as you are tested before 2pm). This is an amazing service for special needs but even now in covid times if you don't want to go to someplace else to get your blood drawn this is a wonderful option. $130 for our location.. well worth it.

Since the tests are performed from "a single blood draw" and only "one tube is used", there is no additional work involved. I was surprised when I was quoted over $200 for each titer. To make sure I understood the charges, I contacted multiple locations. I spoke with Keona at the Sterling Heights location, who told me she confirmed the pricing with her manager. I also spoke with Kristen at the Southfield location, who confirmed the pricing and told me she did not make the prices. After reminding her that she is a representation of Concentra I asked to be sent to the corporate office. At corporate, I spoke with Ruby, who initially told me the charges were correct and charged for their services. After I explained that I planned to share my experience in online reviews, she placed me on hold to verify the information. When she returned, she told me that the quoted price did include the laboratory fee. The conflicting information I received left me with more questions than answers, and I was not comfortable moving forward. I decided to take my business back to Quest Diagnostics. They recently charged me $58 for a Comprehensive Panel which includes 16 test. My advice is to ask for an itemized estimate, confirm exactly what is and is not included in the quoted price, and compare costs with other providers before agreeing to testing. As for me... She's ALWAYS there. I feel like she goes out of her way to make things go as slow as possible, be unhelpful and unpleasant. She's the main reason I stopped going there. I prefer the one on rochester rd. One day I spent almost five hours there. It was so slow another patient ordered jets pizza delivery and ate it right there in the waiting area. Also once when I was getting a routine physical, after it was done I asked the PA (a short young indian female) if she detected anything during the chest exam. She responded by asking me why I was asking. Who needs this crap, seriously. Too many miserable people working here.
