I remember Yate shopping centre as a kid, it's home to the town leisure centre so have fond…read morememories of going swimming followed by a trip to the local supermarket. Not much has changed in Yate since then, other than they have had a revamp, things are looking a bit more shiney and modern. There's plenty of free parking here and good public transport. You won't find high end stores but will find high street shops, affordable, accessible and there's everything from clothes, groceries to pharmacies. If you can't face the busy Bristol/ broadmead shops then it might be worth giving Yate a try!!

They really seem to take care of your kids feet everytime you go in they measure the…read morechildrens feet and help you to choose the right shoes for whatever stage of development they are at. Clarks are notoriosly expensive but the customer service they provide and the quality of their shoes make up for this. this shop could do with a bit of a re decorate as it is looking a bit old but it is still always clean and tidy. The staff here are fantastic and do a really excellent job they put the kids at ease and go out of their way to help.
