Im Sorry Danieltra but you are clearly on about the wrong school, I hope you find the right school and copy and paste it across (Stay Tuned for the Most True Review) For a Start When i was leaving to join the army i was told not to join Because Mrs Grey said She Dident want any of her boys becomeing cannon Fauder ( For someone who has a long line of Military Family History this is one of the biggest insults i could ever recive) Most teachers Highly Discourage About Young Men and Women joining TA or Regs, also i have been tested for dyslicsea 3 times and still have not been told if i am or not, i was sat in the wrong class for computing i was sat at int 1 for 2 years then for the exam i was sat at an int 2 paper accidently and past it so i was clearly in the wrong level for that. there is a high Level of Bullying, Vandilisim and most teachers are very ignorant to pupils More So in the P.E Department and Art, Ms Smith Said Why do you want to join the army you might end up like that Ex-Pupil Callum Brown(Callum Brown for those who don't know had been Blown up by an I.E.D not long before and had lost both his legs and Had a Massive Struggle to get back to good Health) I Then said" Hes my Second Cousin" She Did not apologise or even seem to care about what she said and the severe outcome that could have had. Oh my dear, I was once a student at Queen Margaret Academy and I have to 100% agree with SGT-CIMcGhee with everything he has said! right down to the bit about the good teachers, this school is a sad excuse for something that is meant to provide education and most of the teachers are either very rude or even bully some students themselves!This school in mny opinion is very bad for bullies and not much support, its a sad time when the very school most of these reviews seem to be about are either about another school or just plain and simply made up. just before the current head teacher took over it was once a tolerable hell hole! and the bullying wasnt as bad! also once apon a time the school was burned down not once but twice! BY STUDENTS!! what does that say about the place? some people say that school are the best days of your life, for me leaving that polace was the best and every day after that i did not have to attend were the best, i know i may upset some people with this post but as i have stated before this review is only MY OPINION, also what i could never understand was that you did not have to be of catholic religion to be a part of the school but the minute you attend you were told to belive and taking the sublect of R.E was mandatory as was going to mass up until 4th year? read more

As a pupil of Queen Margaret Academy I completely disagree with the comment above. Bullying is not even regarded as an issue in the school and teachers have control. Teachers are friendly and to a good quality as well as the pupils, with a few exceptions of course(the same everywhere) Of Course the school is a little run down but it is made up for in educational quality. As I beleive the school is one of the top in ayrshire for exam results. I am deeply angered at the view posted above and have to say the school is constantly improving and i think the person writing the review above needs to check put the facts first. read more
