First thing you see walking in this place is the wonderful decoration in harmony with the American/Tex-Mex cuisine. I was very excited to finally find a place to come eat, chill while I do some work, read a book or spent some time with friends. The menu have items that are very hard to find anywhere else in Turkey such as Clam Chowder Soup. The reason I did not give the full 5 stars was that the prices were quite steep. The food menu as well as the wine menu were a bit expensive if you want to come here just to hang out and the concept is a bit too casual for date night (unless you want a little change). Hence I can imagine that this place can be a bit too pricey for most. They also offer breakfast and it's 62 Liras. While it is still comparatively pricey, the composition of the breakfast plate can more or less justify the price. They also seem to have delectable looking desserts.

Burgers were small but tasty, a bit fatty for our taste. The burger bread tasted like fabricated (like Uno bread) instead of hand-made, which was unexpected for us. The waiter mixed up the order and brought me something else. When notified of the mistake he quickly apologized and changed my bagel. The bagel itself was good and the side salad was ok. I find the portions to be too small for the prize. The Texas bagel is priced 40₺ which is very expensive considering the size. The bruschetta was not good. The bagel they served it on was crumbly and the tomatoes weren't fresh. To end on a positive note. The interior design looks better than the outside seating. The waiters are kind, service is quick and the music was very nice. I don't think I'll return but if you want to try this place maybe go for breakfast instead of lunch. The breakfast menu looked much better.

So my burger palate may not be as sophisticated as say Samuel L. Jackson's. However I did have French fries at Maison Antoine, considered to be amongst the best, so I know my fries. Jimmy's Burger is a tiny joint located on the second floor, and has a capacity for maybe 30 people. The decor is playfully Americana and there is even an arcade game for you to play. So they're only missing pin up girls to complete the picture. I had their classic Jimmy's burger (29₺) and as you can see it's a monstrous burger, almost exploding with meat. And while that's the bigger version (mine was 200g, you can also opt for 150g), in typical American fashion you can always go bigger, as my compadre did with his whopping 300g 34₺ Magic Burger and boy does that look like a heart attack waiting to happen. It's a shame I couldn't take a pic of it before he devoured it. Now the burger tasted excellent, nothing earth shattering or unique but it's a good, tasty burger, however the buns were too dry. The fries on the other hand, have to be one of the best fries I had in Istanbul, for 5₺, I think they've very reasonably priced and I would recommend this place even just for the fries. We also tasted sampled their sucuk (6₺) and smoked meat (8₺), which apparently they make themselves, but you can skip them, they taste nothing special and come in tiny portions. So while there is room for improvement and it certainly isn't cheap by any means save for the fries, it's a good burger folks. If you're going to have high blood pressure, better because of Jimmy's rather than Ronald's.
