I had my hair done by lianne and she is excellent at re styling because if you had seen my hair before i went in lol . I just asked her what she thought and she re styled it just perfect just how i wanted it . The thing that i noticed the most is that she listened and checked with me all the time if i liked it . I felt realy confident that my hair was in her hands and i am very fussy ! . Also all the girls in there seem to get on really well fab team and i would highly reccomend shine to anyone . Oh and there is a added bonus of a beautician which was very busy so thats a good sign so ill be trying her next time i go . Im just updating my review as SHINE has relocated the the old town in the name of SOLEIL , i need to tell everyone as it would be a crying shame if people didnt know. Lianne has really grown and taken a further step forward in adding her services to a growing business . The salon consists of beauty treatments , spray tans, hot stone therapy, sun beds, now hairdressing by shine , and coming soon botox and fillers , and perminant make up tattoing , its all very exiting and the salon is so beatiful and welcoming. If anyone is wanting to book any services at SOLEIL then the number is 01262674007 thanks

The staff are friendly, but not too much so (if you don't want to chat, that's fine). The cuts are a little variable depending on who you get but they are all good and the colouring I gives me shiny, soft hair. The colours fade, but they always do since I only get my hair done about every 3-4 months! It can be cold in the salon, so bring a cardi. My only slight complaint - but this is true for just about every salon I have ever been to - is that most of the hairdressers pull my hair so hard my scalp ends up sore by the end. It is as if they think they are working on the manikins that they were trained on sometimes. Soft hands, please! But overall, Zenn is very good and I would recommend them.

The salon has recently been made bigger to accommodate more people and although it looks very young from the outside the clients are all ages. The salon also has a fantastic nail technician. This is my regular salon and I can't imagine going anywhere else. I have tried and always go running back to ask them for emergency help. They also sell a good range of professional hair care, shampoo's and GHD's etc. I honestly cant imagine going anywhere else to get my hair done for a long time. Bit pricier than some salons but totally worth the money!

A very rare thing in Hairdressers I've found. I travel all the way from Grimsby and over the bridge to get there and it is worth every penny. I used to go to Toni and Guy in Grimsby but after a few disasters there, I went to Mark Hill's on recommendation. I received a very warm reception, all the staff are really polite, welcoming. I now even bring all my children to get their hair styled there. The cost is far cheaper than Toni and guy and Bobs in Grimsby. Mark Hill himself always says Hello to every customer, no matter how busy they are.

I have been getting my nails done for 15 years and have never found a salon that is so quick with such high quality. A full set only took 45 minutes. They do use electric drills, which gives you a much better and faster finish than hand-filed nails. The salon is clean, relaxing and service is beyond - they take their time and do such a great job with my nails and make sure they are done to a perfect finish. At Christmas, they had an open bar - basically free alcoholic drinks while you waited. Everything from vodka to rum to wine, just open for you to help yourselves. I really enjoyed this! Their polish collection is super organized. When I go there, they are neatly aligned by each brand and its shade, which made it super easy for me to pick out the appropriate colors. You can just walk in and wait, but if you book an appointment with them, you get seen first. I also didn't feel the pressure to "chat" with them because they just let me be. Not in a rude way or anything. It is always comfortably quiet, which I really appreciate after a long day at work. They did an excellent job on my nails and toenails. They came out exactly the way I wanted. They use OPI and Creative brands, which are two of my favourites. They also stock numerous items for you to buy.
