I would give this zero stars if I could and rarely write a bad review. I went for a "gel powder" manicure. I thought gel is a GEL NOT a powder and after much Googling, I was right. During the application, the chemical smell was very strong ,and my finger tips burned and itched. That dissipated after a day or so. When I went for a "fill" a few weeks later, the itching was worse but again lasted only a day or two. Three times is a charm (not) for after the third "fill" my fingertips blew up, itched like mad and the areas surrounding my nail beds were swollen. By the way, no alcohol or cleansing of the instruments were used. This place clearly uses MMA and it's a dangerous acrylic product. I had the acrylic removed only to find a terrible fungal in- fection in all 10 nail beds. I have used a clipper to cut them way down and am applying anti-fungal lacquer to all the nails. This post is to help others maintain good nail health. I am still in a good deal of pain and also taking an anti-histamine for the dreadful swelling and itching. read more

I wanted to like this place. I have outgrown my previous nail tech. I went to Quarry Nails for a few months. I had two horrible pedicures; by no means do not mess up my nails. I went to David for three months, and although they looked nice, the nail care was awful. I wear natural medium-length with a dip overlay. Well, my natural nails would break, and I would need a tip to maintain the length of the other nails. No, I want my natural nails. Now all my nails have broken. I am beyond angry. Now, I need to start with a manicure and wait for them to grow again. After speaking to several professional nail techs, he did not put enough product on my nails, thus causing them to be brittle and easy to break. If the dip is not your forte, stick to another service. Never again, Quarry Nails. read more

I went in after needing to get my nails done after the last place I went to had done a bad job with the dip. There was a little bit of a wait, but not terribly long. It's a nice chill vibe. I forgot to get the name of my nail tech, but he was amazing! I am on the spectrum, and I hate a lot of small talk, he was not a big talker, and that made me feel really at ease. He took his time and he asked exactly what I wanted done and I asked for his opinion. I am in LOVE with how my nails came out. They don't feel heavy or look gaudy. I have found my nail salon home. The nail techs are friendly and the owner tries to great her returning customers by their name, along with getting to know their beauty needs. This was my first time coming here because I just wanted a quick pedicure but I LOVED IT! Davis was super nice and took his time. I didn't realize until after that they closed at 7 but they still took me at 6:40 and the Were very welcoming and sweet. They noticed I was in a rush because they were closing and they reassured me to take my time and dry my toes! One of the nicest salons I have ever been too! I even messed up one of my toes when dry and Davis was quick to fix it up for me and they look perfect! Apart from the pedicure looking amazing, the service here is worth all the money! I started coming here because I was told that I can make an appointment. Most nail places nowadays don't take appointments. I came in on my Sunday off work and was told to come back in about an hour. I went shopping and start running short of time so I didn't finish checking out to respect the nail text time and get back. We waited an additional 30 minutes and I inquired why is it that places don't take appointments now days. The technician was very perturbed and said we don't take appointment's ma'am!" She kept taking customers ahead of us that were not black. Then after having us wait for an hour and a half she went in the back for about 10 minutes and came out and said that she's sorry someone had to leave early and that they weren't gonna be able to service us. She wasted a hour and a half of our time and we had driven 20 minutes from the city and a time where gas is at an all-time high and she didn't care at all she just blew us off and refused service- I think because we're a black. Definitely don't recommend this place. Came here a few days before thanksgiving to get a full acrylic set and man was I disappointed. First of all we go in and waited for an hour which I understood they were busy but once they sat me into a chair it took them another 15 mins to do my nails because the nail tech doing my nails kept answering the phone so that was a no no. And secondly their was an older senior lady who kept trying to talk to the nail tech who was doing her nails but she kept ignoring her and talking to her coworkers in another language instead of engaging with the customer. And lastly one of the workers complained about how he didn't want to be there late but he insisted on doing the girls nails next to me but he got mad and started arguing to the other nail tech how he should have been off by then. Can you imagine the look on the clients face when he had to finish her nails with his stank attitude?!! I honestly felt so bad for that girl because she must have felt uncomfortable. This place isn't what it use to be. So unless you want to get attitude from someone there, I don't recommend getting your nails done here. P.S my nails were ok. My sister is a nail tech and when we inspected our nails, we noticed that it needed more of a form. read more

I worked with Vee today and she did an amazing job with my nails! I went in for a refill for gel acrylic with no chip. She took her time and fixed the mess of nails that I came with from a previous salon. I am so happy that I found a salon nearby that does quality work. they were about a 20 minute wait but that's fine considering the ulta and target near by. when i sat in the chair suddenly a fill that was $25 added $5 for each damaged nail fine then out of no where it's $6 to shave off no chip top coat another $5 for length of fill? or something i'm not even sure as she was rapidly typing into a calculator and mumbling add ons $46 for a fill reg polish that's a full set price. anyways i went in with a perfect shape came out with uneven wide nails splotchy polish sore fingers from rough filing and 3 1/2 hours of my life gone. to top it off 2 nails missing 4 days later.pedicure was amazing only reason this place gets any stars. read more
