The business has been through several re-brands over the years so I must say I don't know the current owner but the staff are long serving. Kim, Shirley and Debbie are the ones to go to. Great service, skills and chat - even when you're hungover and getting a cut! All 3 are popular so you need to book in advance. As long as they stay whenever the next re-brand happens I'll be happy. Stack load of women's magazines to choose from if that's what you like. Comfortable waiting area.

Supercuts at Wembley Central is a franchise store in the Supercuts chain, it is in a good location…read morebeing in the Wembley Central Shopping Centre, which basically is right next to the Underground and Overground Station, and about a 5-10 minute walk from Wembley Stadium. With a little to wait until my train home from Manchester, having stayed over the previous night in Wembley after watching Manchester City defeat Spurs 3-1, I called in here looking for a haircut and beard trim, the prices seemed reasonable considering it is a franchise store, the prices on the window actually matched the normal non-franchise stores I'd expect in Manchester etc which was good. When I visited, the store seemed really quiet in terms of staff and customers, I was greeted by a slightly reluctant member of staff who went on to tell me they didn't have a barber, and I immediately laughed that a salon/barbers didn't have a barber which made no sense, she was only able to try to direct me to a different store nearby. I feel this branch of Supercuts deserves a single one star because of this, one of their main services they could not offer, and the overall feel of the store, on a weekend when I'd have expected the store to be busy, was just poor, quiet and it's a shame to see a franchise store in the Supercuts chain, being so different to the main brand of Supercuts, to the point where if you'd have told me it wasn't a Supercuts at all, I would have believed you.

I went to Yu N May to get YUKO done on my hair. I had YUKO done before but wanted to find somewhere…read morethat was closer to home and Yu N May was, plus it was much cheaper. All I can say is WOW! They were amazing! They used ALL YUKO products and I was guided through the entire process. After trying a new place a few months before whom were awful and not even YUKO qualified, I made sure I done my research this time and confirmed with the YUKO Academy in London that Yu N May are quialified and they also buy there products directly from them. My hair was left feeling silky smooth and in much better condition. I was told to not wash my hair for 24 hours at least but I washed it about 3 days later just to make sure :) The result was beautiful, silky, and most importantly, straight hair! I am so happy that I went to Yu N May and I will definitely be returning for my YUKO treatments every 5-6months or so. They also cut my hair which was lovely too! Thanks Yu N May x

Incompetent hairstylist stole £20 from my bag!…read more Avoid this salon by all means: I wish I had! The hairstylist in this place is the most horrible human being you'll ever come across. While I went to the toilet midway getting my hair done by, I left my handbag on the chair. Again, call me naive but at that time in the salon, it was just me and her left at the salon. Long story short: when it was time to pay for what turned out to be overly priced (£70 for basic shoulder-length box braids!!!) and extremely poorly executed style, I realised that £20 was missing. Seeing the type of person I was dealing with I decided not to lower myself to her standards so I just paid and left: she is surely not worthy of getting a police case but she deserved something for being shameless, and she definitely deserved it. I always come to this salon to have my eyebrows threaded, and have done so for the last 10+ years…read more After a lot of trial and error at a range of other salons in London (cheap and super-expensive ones), I can safely say that I would not go anywhere else for eyebrow threading. The price is excellent, the staff are all lovely and listen to what I want (rather than go ahead and pluck out half my eyebrows like some salons), and I can always get an appointment even on a walk-in basis. Each treatment consists of the threading, a mini-massage on the eye area and application of soothing cream. This is a bargain for the £4 price tag! (Some salons in Mayfair charge £30 for threading!) I have also had a deep cleanse facial at this salon, which while rather expensive, was extremely relaxing and left my skin glowing and feeling exceptionally clean. I cannot comment on the bleach facials as I have never had this treatment, but I can say that in my experience the staff have always been very competent, helpful and polite.
