Adjacent to a Walmart and a few other chain restaurants. Easy to walk around or hail an Uber/Lyft to take your around town. Was staying here due to its proximity to the local regional airport. Flying around the country from Colorado and needed a spot to stay for the evening. Staff was polite and our room was clean and newly remodeled from the looks of it. The lobby at the time still had plexiglass dividers due to Covid. Otherwise you'll see the usual front desk, elevators, and a surprisingly well stocked mini store. Maybe that was due to the pandemic or this location just stays on top of variety but it was noticeably nicer than other hotels. If I'm in the area again I would certainly call here for a room again.

They're budget friendly, free breakfast, good rewards program, typically a good room. So let me explain my issues. 1) A/C - the air temp in the room never got below 74f the 2 nights I was there. They have a thermostat on the wall that runs nothing - not unusual. There is the separate unit in the wall and that where the air conditioning comes from. I set it on 70f the 1st night. It never felt real cold and the wall thermostat never got below 74. Having encountered this before, I had my own thermostat in the truck and set it out the next day next to the bed. It showed 75f. It's a big room so I moved it next to the air coming out and it showed 72f. I said something to the front desk and she said they would check it out. Not sure if they did but most likely it's regulated. Not sure why as the unit ran all the time. 2) shower water pressure. Almost non-existent. The bathroom sink had great pressure. The mini bar great. The toilet great. The shower not great. Not even ok. And to get hot water, the pressure decreased even more. So I was prepared for this too. A pr of pliers and removing the shower head revealed a water reducer. Once popped out, great pressure. These two issues are both intentional to save $$. And maybe for the occasional traveler who would overlook these, not me. So this HI is way down on my list next trip to Tulsa. The rest was Hampton Inn usual. Good breakfast, nice staff, clean room.

And the font desk attendant said "I'm so sorry, I don't know what to do and I've been here 16 hours and usually don't work overnight." 16 hours is a lot, but that doesn't mean you cant figure it out. Additionally, I'm sure smoke alarms don't only go off at night, so only working days is irrelevant. OH! and houskeeping did not come to the room. This was not a good stay and I do not recommend this place at all!

To my surprise, there was even a jacuzzi in my room. The only complaint I have is that my room smelled of cigarette smoke when people were smoking outside my room, near my room air conditioner. I had two dogs during my stay and there was absolutely no problem having them here. The cost for the room with two dogs was very reasonable.

We're in an era where so many hotels and motels are being renovated, so there's really no reason for this property to still have outdated bedding, worn floors, and aging walls. At the very least, the walls could be freshly painted, the bathrooms thoroughly cleaned, and the bathtub floor mats replaced. I do want to recognize the front desk staff--they were welcoming, friendly, and provided excellent customer service. They told me that Room 109 was one of the best rooms available. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. As soon as I walked in, I had to kill two water bugs, and there were also two roaches on the wall. I understand this motel is located in a rural area, but that doesn't mean guests shouldn't be able to enjoy a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained room. With some updates and better pest control, this property could provide a much better experience.
