They are super sweet and accommodating. I've seen them even assist with patrons when they didn't have to. I'll come back just because of them. To begin with, my card did not work and I had to make the awful trek down the stairwell because the elevator was broken. Not to mention the stairwell and hallways REEK of puke and cigarettes and is hotter than a witches coochie. The issue was resolved, I arrive in my room. The room seems fine as is. The bathroom is where I am appalled. There is black mold from what I can see in the corner. Hastily done caulking in the corners and around the baseboard. The wallpaper is crumbling. The spout diverter in the shower, oh my great heavens. I had to call my son down to this hotel just to pull the diverter up! And boy is he strong and he struggled! God bless!! I do appreciate the handlebar in the shower, but there was an awful stench coming from the shower. Overall, I would not recommend spending money here. The staff is very nice, but that does not excuse the shoddy rooms. Shannon out.

I really like that fact that their ac blows really good! 5 stars for good cold AC! The room is very spacious and clean. You get water when you come in and they have a ton of snacks and drinks for the guests. The bad: bed is not comfortable! Come on Hampton Inn owners! You went cheap in thee bed and I can tell! For that very reason and a few more I will NOT back! Spend a few dollars and get a quality bed! Also, in the am when we were down there for breakfast they didn't have the AC on! Come on how cheap can you Be! I asked them to turn the AC in and right away you noticed a difference. 3rd reason is that I noticed a charge for almost 50.00 for "valet laundry" that I didn't order! For these three things I will NOT be back! I should give them two stars. Stay at stay bridge down the road. Much more comfy beds!

I worked for over 10 days to try to reach the manager, Gisela. She finally called me back after I left over 7 messages. She said she would "look into it" and call me back. I never received a call back. I reached out to Hilton corporate, and they said they could do nothing since it is a franchise. According to records, this hotel is owned by a local Brownsville community member. This type dishonesty is awful, I have read other a reviews about people being charged inaccurately. I will mot stay at any Hilton hotel in this area again. Truly awful.

This is more like a motel. I booked a room at the Fairfield Inn on a business trip, but quickly ended my stay. 1. The cleaning staff that we were assigned is lazy and ignorant. They refused to change our bedsheets and continuously lied about cleaning out rooms but never even touched it. They made it an issue when they did clean our rooms, and visibly showed signs of irritation. 2. Terrible mold infestation in the hotel. See attached picture. Staff attempted to spray paint over the mold instead of simply calling a specialist to treat it. 3. Room service is also rude. They will see you in the hallways and look at us as if we have caused them harm. If you say hello to them, they will not respond. Not a friendly environment at all, hospitality is non existent. 4. Hotel manager Johnny decided it was appropriate to barge into my room after banging on my door loudly and obnoxiously for about 5 seconds. Not even giving me an adequate amount of time to answer and give them the permission to enter the room. I am a woman and I wasn't even fully dressed. He did this not once, but twice. Disgusting man on a power trip. If you're a woman traveling alone, be sure to take the proper protective measures if you know what I mean. Their staff cannot be trusted. 5. They're stingy with the hotel shuttle. The shuttle is there to transport guests to and from the hotel to the airport or etc;. The manager caught an attitude with me when I asked him if the shuttle was available as if it wasn't apart of the hotels services. 6. Their manger is currently refusing to give me packages that I had sent there all because I switched to another hotel. They refuse to take the packages from the mail carriers and returned them to sender. Talk about petty! Mind you, I moved to the hotel directly across the street. It's not like my mail has been sitting there for a while. I already had mail enroute to the hotel before I decided to move to another. Johnny or however you spell his name gives this hotel a bad rep. He has a nasty attitude and no customer service skills whatsoever. He will give you the run around when you come to him with persistent issues within the hotel. Very clean and pristine, quality exercise room, walking distance from restaurants/bars, comfortable bed, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, it's got everything you want in a fantabulous hotel. They allowed me to check in early that day so I could dress properly before heading to my place of work. No doubt I'll be staying here when Brownsville calls my name. And you should as well!

Pretty hotel for the price…read more The beds were really comfy. The room was clean. I do remember the AC being super cold and the bed was comfy! The shower was hot and had good pressure. Overall for the value I felt like I got a great deal. Next time I am bear the border I would definitely consider staying here again. I found them on hot wire and got a pretty good price. You are close to several restaurants. You are also pretty close to the border in case you are in town for business. There is this really good taco spot near by called Ultimo Taco. First time staying at a stay bridge and I was happy. The work area for your laptop is nice. Good job stay bridge. I'll be back. Also they offer a free breakfast too. Which is nice. I didn't get it though. Next time I will.

I stopped by the mall which was nearby for an item I forgot to pack. The hotel: The room was clean and cozy and had a kitchen that I was not able to use. The bed was soft although I thought the bedding was a little thin and felt like I was cold throughout the evening. The bathroom was clean and I loved that bright white lighting in there. It felt very sterile which is what I want in a bathroom. The shower pressure was great which is something I always look for in a hotel. Check out was a breeze and the staff was super friendly. Overall this was a great stay even though it was a quick one.

Fair prices friendly courteous and willing to go out of their way to satisfy their guests Ms. Ruth Medina the manager is a wonderful person to deal with. I have seen her work with her guests after hours just to make sure their stay is a pleasant memorable one. Her staff go above and beyond as well regardless of the time of day. Theres always a smile and a Professional demeanor with the staff. You can definitely see that these people are very happy with their careers and that says a lot for the management. Rooms are spotless clean. Garbages are always emptied. And the environment is pleasant Stay here folks. You won't be disappointed. I wish more Hiltons had this environment.

As I approached the front desk I could see a tall female brunette leaning/laying on the counter scrolling up and down on her cell phone. As I reached the desk she continued to to browse whatever it was she was looking at. I stood about three feet from her for about 30 to 40 seconds before I had to say "excuse me" to get her attention (if you can call it attention). She seemed bothered by someone needing to check in, and continued to begrudgingly attend me as if she was doing me a favor. She never asked me, or thanked me for being a diamond elite member. Her attitude was inexcusable and she would be better served working in a lighthouse tower where she doesn't have to communicate with others. The next day I ran into someone who was sitting nearby the front desk and they made the comment about how he observed my interaction with this lady and preceded to tell me how he has seen her treat other customers in the same dismissive fashion. If this is true, then this is also a management misstep, as there should be supervisors' observing their employees interactions with customers, and immediately correcting it as it happens. Suffice it to say, that was my last stay at this particular Holiday Inn. Her name was Leslie.

I am freaking out because I am all alone. I message the hotel desk and no reply. I contact Expedia and they call the manager for me. My phone rings and it is Rene the General Manager. He has an attitude and I was confused why. He says he is on the phone with Expedia and I claimed someone opened my door. I said that is correct. He then goes on to say he asked all his staff and they all said nobody opened my door. I told him he might want to check the cameras. He tells me he has 1 more thing to to check and he will give me a call back. He calls me back and says someone who just left did actually open my door on accident they got the wrong room. He also requested I call the front desk and not Expedia (so that is why he had an attitude). Imagine you telling the truth and the general manager calls you a liar. I will never stay here again. What ever happened to customer service? Smh.
