Love the view we had as we got in our car this morning! Very relaxing :)

We came to the quality inn for our anniversary to stay and get up and shop the day away at Greatlakes crossing. We were in love with the staff from the moment we arrived! The young lady working the front desk was smiling from ear to ear and it was clear she loved her job! We got up at 6:30 am for the continental breakfast (FREE) and were amazed at the variety of food and yet again were greeted with smiles and warm welcomes from the fabulous cook!! Upon leaving our room the next day we had the pleasure of more smiles from the young ladies that were cleaning and all other hotel staff! Hands down the most pleasant staff we have ever experienced in our many years of traveling!! And the rooms were clean, hotel common areas were clean and the hotel is kept up and modernized!! Great find for the perfect place to stay for all future travels this way!!

Check in.

Amazing, clean, affordable, clean again! Washable top cover(comforter). Please look at check in pictures and tips posted. The friendliest staff I have ever had at any hotel 5 star and down. Warm breakfast! Which was amazing!! Make your own waffles which my wife has never done and really enjoyed! It was the first time she made something without burning! Lol Please stop in and check it out, they has nature in their backyard. A little river and dam with geese and picnic tables through out. Clean again I can not say it enough. Too many times do I run upon something dingy and nasty at a hotel and this one did not provide the gross findings let alone a simple uncleared bathtub/toilet/fridge. Which by te way they provide fridges in every room along with the normal cable HD TV and talk ceilings which seperated ten from the rest. Be a champ and tip your staff. Cleaners get left out in the tipping world too many times. A+

Kids enjoying the heated outdoor pool

We were in town for a football tournament, I was concerned what the hotel would be since our rate was around $70. Enjoyed every minute of our stay. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The breakfast was great in the morning. Our kids had a blast in the outdoor heated pool. Although it was 65 degrees outside, the pool was super warm. I finally was able to drag them out of the pool at 8pm. Every staff member seemed genuine in asking if there was anything that you needed or if there was anything they could do to help. We will definitely stay here again next year when we are in town!!

Clean, comfortable, and roomy!

The room was perfect, with room to sit and watch TV or read. The fridge was colder and roomier than most hotel mini fridges. The staff was amazing, very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed chatting with the desk personnel and felt very welcome. They also put on a great breakfast, something that is getting harder to find. I appreciated the touches to make my stay comfortable and I'll stay here again (it's close to family).

We've stayed in newer Hyatt Places before, this was a bit older, but still clean and comfortable. The staff members we interacted with were all super friendly and kind. The room was interesting, with a large couch in a living room area, a desk, a mini fridge/wet bar area, and the bathroom was adjacent to the beds. It's a big room and could probably sleep up to five people, so it was plenty for the three of us. Some of the outlets were tricky. There were no USB ports anywhere and our charger plugged into the extension cord under the nightstand kept falling out. The free wifi was good and fast enough for Nate to use to get some work done in the room. The mini fridge kept everything super cold, which was great as we had some leftovers from dinner. The free breakfast included fruit, yogurt, bagels, and hot premade Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches. There is a pool and fitness center but we didn't use those. Not many guests when we were there, but the parking lot and location felt safe. Quick drive to The Crofoot and other points of interest - we particularly loved the Hub nearby for happy hour drinks and snacks!

They have a pool, hot tub, and fitness center. It was pretty empty when I was there and I had the pool to myself for a bit. My room was nice with a little sunset view. It was clean. The bed was comfy and the pillows were nice. There was a tv in the room. The bathroom was big and they have good shampoo and conditioner. They had snacks for sale in the lobby and a restaurant on site. They did a complimentary drink table in the afternoon. I'd recommend staying here if you're in the area.

Can't speak on the hotel, this review is for the hotel's restaurant, The Auburn Standard…read more Came here because Oakland University had to pivot their usual radio show, which is usually held at Patti Finnigan's on OU's golf courses. So it was a very last-minute plan job to relocate the Coach Kampe's radio show to here instead. The set up of the radio show was great, and there was plenty of seating throughout. Parking was not bad and the lobby of the hotel was modern and updated. The restaurant was easy to find. Inside the restaurant has swanky/modern vibes. Lots of booths along with a large bar. The place did seem a little rundown in areas. But the booths were in good shape along with the tables. Service was not great in the beginning. There was one server and one bartender when we got there. We sat at our table for at least 20 to 30 minutes without anyone ever coming by our table. Which wasn't the greatest when you're trying to entertain an almost 2-year-old. There had to be at least 40+ people dining at the restaurant. My husband tried to order at the bar and we were turned away and said a server would be at our table. Noticed eventually that one of the cooks came out to start taking orders, and another person showed up to help. Once our server came to us, she apologized for the wait and everything from thereafter was great. The menu has a little bit of everything. Some small plates and main entrées. Our appetizers came out in about 15 minutes. Ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, meatball, and crabcakes. Everything was absolutely delicious! My only complaint was the crabcake should've been served with a lemon wedge. The crabcakes were crunchy on the outside and really packed with crab rather than being overly packed with filler and breadcrumbs. The sauce was delicious. The meatball was one big meatball, which had great flavor. The very inside did seem a little undercooked though. The bread with the meatballs was OK. It just tasted like hamburger buns that were toasted. The marinara sauce was good though. The spinach and artichoke dip was creamy and hot. We also ordered a burger and salmon dinner. The fries were absolutely delicious. Had a good crunch on them and they were crispy. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. Thankfully, the bill came out pretty quick and we were able to get on our way. Overall, really impressed with the hotel restaurant. I know these places can have a hit or miss reputation. We definitely come back!

I usually take pictures of the entire room but we were exhausted when we came in and didn't have a chance to. They do have an area where you can eat; a table with two chairs and a small love seat near the TV. They also have a desk for working. They have a full sized kitchen which works perfect. There's a coffee maker, toaster, pots pans, paper towels, microwave, stove, dishes, and more. The refrigerator also has an ice maker which is an added plus. We made a Walmart run to stock up on everything that we would need for the week. Getting back to the room it is a nice size. The bed was super comfy and so were the pillows. Both sides of the bed had a plug to charge your cell phone. This is always a bonus because I've been to many hotels that only have one on one side. The bathroom had full size portions in a dispenser of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. They do have a continental breakfast in the morning down in the lobby. Overall a good experience and see you next time.

Worst hotel experience ever. While waiting to check in, I…read moreheard a customer voicing all of her complaints to the front desk and I thought she was crazy. Turns out she wasn't. I should've known something was up when they asked for $100 security deposit, I have never in my life paid a security deposit at a hotel. The elevator and hallways were a mess and gave a sleazy Motel vibe. However, they are under construction, and I figured it would be better when I got to the room. Wrong, first of all we reserved a two bedroom suite with a king and two queens. We were given a two bedroom suite with a king and a queen. Looking around, there was debris left on the floor from the previous guests. But what took the cake was the headboard of my room. I cannot tell you how disgusted I was when I saw what I suspect was sperm smeared all over the headboard. The sheets were dirty with stains and there were more signs of bodily fluids on the shower curtain. I was beyond disgusted. On my way back down to the check-in, there was a group of girls getting off the elevator who looked around and stated that the hotel looked like it was used for sex trafficking. When I made it to the front desk, the worker was extremely apologetic and offered me either a late checkout or another room. I wanted to state neither, but I booked the room under a deal online that was nonrefundable. I told her I would take a new room. The new room was a little cleaner and appeared to be without bodily fluids. However, it still was not the room we booked with one king and two queen beds, and it still had debris all over the floor. It was a horrible night, I could not believe I booked a room at this place. My comfort level was at -50.I placed a chair under the door for extra security and slept on top of the blankets of my bed. I was asked if I wanted to speak to the manager and I stated yes and waited at the front desk, but she did not come down. I left my name and phone number requesting a call and they assured me she would call me right away. However, I did not hear from her that day. I made a call to her the next day at which times she apologized and offered me a room upgrade if I stayed at her location again. Which was laughable at best. I will never stay at one of these properties ever again in my life. I called corporate and filed a complaint and I am currently waiting for a determination. Also, just a heads up that hundred dollar security deposit can take up to three- seven days to be returned.
