He agreed I pointed at how short I wanted the line of trees cut and he gave me a price. I was even clear in our text exchange and my ad he had responded to that I wanted my trees shortened. Let me say - I wouldnt even recommend him to my worst enemy. He absolutely entirely destroyed every single tree, shrub and plant I own. My yard is absolutely demolished. The 6 trees left standing dont even have ONE leaf on them!! He even chopped down my SHRUBS that were nowhere near the same height! He tore out my hostas and pomegranates! He cut up my grapes! And dumped piles and piles of huge branches all over MY ENTIRE GARDEN! THEN HE HAD THE AUDACITY TO WANT TO CHARGE ME MORE! His first mistake was ***thinning*** the trees instead of shortening them. He then told me it was **too much work what I was asking** and I needed to pay another 1k! It was a HUGE WTF moment. No- YOU didnt do what I asked and what was agreed upon to begin with. He had taken down trees I didnt want taken down and stripped them of their leaves leaving them tall still! I had a very dense privacy screen of trees and greenry so I was trying to be understanding of the scenario at hand and look for a solution. He told me due to ** safety** he could no longer shorten the trees (since he had made them unstable by cutting off all the branches). I told him if it was easier he could drop the tiny ones. He ended up dropping EVERY SINGLE TREE but the 6 i mentioned. THEN HE TRIED TO CHARGE ME MORE. THEN HE STRIPPED EVERY BRANCH AND LEAVES off the few left standing!!! He is INSANE. He had at the point of his first screw up agree to take a load of debris. Initially I told him I wanted the debris left ----from the trees being topped ---- because I could just use it in my garden. Do to HIS ERROR - i would be unable to take care of so much debris. Little did I know he was going to tear out EVERYTHING!!! THEN HE REFUSED TO TAKE ANYTHING WITH HIM!. I had to threaten to put a stop payment on the check in order for him to pick up one measely load of debris! Which he didnt even follow that agreement either! I tried to work with him on a date/time to which he ignored my messages and just SHOWS UP! He lives 90 minutes away and had read the message 2 hours prior with me trying to work out a schedule! So its not like he didnt ignore me BY CHOICE. The agreement was he would take at minimum half the debris and anything with a diameter 6 inches or smaller. Of course he couldn't even do that! He sends me a video showing a mess still- states its ***weeds*** and even in his own video it shows LOTS of branches way smaller than the agreed upon amount! I finally told him whatever Ill deal with the branches just take all the leaves. Did he ??? NO. It is CRYSTAL CLEAR to me he just does WHAT EVER HE WANTS - Then tries to charge people for it!!! He has caused THOUSANDS of dollars of damage to my yard! I no longer have a privacy screen. I no longer have shade. I no longer have trees to block the wind. I no longer have birds to help take care of my garden. I NO LONGER HAVE A GARDEN! I no longer have shrubs. I no longer have anything. Nothing!NOTHING! NOTHING!! This person deserves to NEVER HAVE BUSINESS AGAIN. Its going to cost ME THOUSANDS to repair HIS damage! He should be THANKFUL STOPPING PAYMENT ON THE CHECK IS ALL IM DOING. Realistically HE should have to PAY TO REPAIR ALLLLLLLLLLL DAMAGES TO MY YARD AND GARDEN! HE DESTROYED IT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE OWES ME THOUSANDS AND SO HELP ME IF this costs me even ONE CENT more than the check I wrote to repair and clean up- I WILL FIND AN ATTORNEY AND SUE HIM INTO OBLIVION! PERIOD.
