I originally made an appointment in May (for July) with Dr. Busch (insert obvious joke here). I got a call last week that the appointment needed to be rescheduled (no explanation), but they were able to move me up a week and a half, which I was thrilled about. I was meeting with Dr. Lemieux instead. I was pretty nervous, considering finding a new doctor is no easy task and I could find no reviews on either doctor on yelp (turns out I wasn't searching the practice correctly). I filled out the forms ahead of time and arrived 30 minutes early as instructed, and was seen 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment time. Here's the best bit--Dr.Lemieux spent 25 minutes sitting and talking with me before the exam, making sure she understood my medical history and what I was hoping to get out of my visit. We talked about the HPV shot, which gynos are awful keen on, and she gave me a bunch of research on that so I could make an informed decision. The exam itself was short, she explained everything before she did it, which was nice, b/c although I'm no stranger to the procedure, having a stranger put their hands in your hoohaa is never a relaxing experience. She was funny, thorough, and helpful. I thought the ladies in the office were just fine, and the RN who weighed and measured me was perfectly pleasant. I'll be interested to see how much of the visit my insurance covers, and if I have any issues with billing, but from where I stand now, I'm entirely satisfied. I will definitely go back.

He is the most patient, knowledgeable doctor I have ever had. He genuinely cares about me and when an occasion comes when I have to see a specialist, I can count on him to (1) send me to someone as professional and caring as he, and (2) be knowledgeable of their recommended treatment and encourage me to follow through, especially when he senses my hesitation. He has never steered me wrong. Now, needing to see another specialist, Dr. Lee has recommended me to someone I feel comfortable that has my best interests at heart. I can't say enough good things about him and know that I will be in his practice for as long as he will have me, which I am hoping will be a long time in the future. His wife, also a doctor, is great, personable, knowledgeable and very patient, although I have not had an occasion to see her in years. All in all, Drs. Lee are the best in DC. Anytime your pharmacist recognizes his name and says good things about him, you know he is well thought of by many and you are in good hands.

Last year, we walked through my issues, landed on a solution and a specialist. So when he was missing in action, I knew something was wrong and there was something wrong. He was sick and it happened quicker than he could get a sign up on the door. He's finally back and attentive to calls and appointments, per his usual. I recommend him as a primary care provider.

I had one appointment for a general checkup with Dr Patel that went well and he was kind, but…read morenoticed that his office seemed disorganized with no receptionist, stacks of papers everywhere, and computers from the 90's. He told me to go get bloodwork done before prescribing me any medication, where he said I can just walk-in to a lab facility. I go to the lab facility, and they explain I cannot just walk in, that there needs to be paperwork sent over from my physician. I called him a few times with voicemails to get this paperwork sent over, and never got ahold of anyone or a call back. So I was unable to ever get my blood work done. I then got sick a few weeks later, and scheduled another appointment with him. I show up and there is a crowd of people standing outside a locked dark office. I waited for over thirty minutes, knocking and calling multiple times, and he never showed up. I have taken time off work, which is not easy for me to do, just to have my time completely wasted because he was not organized enough or responsive. Beyond disrespectful and unprofessional.

I keep receiving bills from One Medical. I came in for a few services last year and not once did…read moreanyone tell me my insurance was not accepted. Instead I get a bill for over $500. Not once was I ever told the cost of services prior to any visit. This goes against the No Surprises Act of 2022. I have already reported One Medical to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. I have requested they adjust my bill accordingly, but I keep getting bills via email and mail. I even called at the beginning of 2022 to confirm my new insurance was accepted, and they confirmed it was. They used to be an amazing practice, but things have severely changed. I will not be renewing my membership even though I've been a member for years.
