Friendly but charged me $500 for a Muffler. Beware of high inflated charges. The receipt stated…read morereplaced Nuffler assembly. But usually that would mean you got a leading pipe and tail pipe. I looked under my Jeep. Only new part was a Muffler. They might have used a hanger ( that would be part of the muffler assembly) Just watch the charges.

LIARS and criminals -- do not trust anything these guys say…read more I brought my fiancée's vehicle in for an oil leak inspection. The next day, they called and said it would cost $550 just to find the leak, claiming they needed to take apart the engine. Looking back, it felt like they were trying to take advantage of us. This is where things stopped adding up. After I told them we were not moving forward with the repair, they suddenly claimed they had already ordered a replacement part and that we needed to "negotiate" compensation. Negotiate for what? I brought the car in for an inspection. I never authorized any repairs. And if it costs $550 just to find the problem, how do you already know what part is needed? The next morning at 8 AM, I went to pick up the car. The woman at the front desk was very nice and seemed new, but then she brought out a mechanic who had a completely different attitude. From the moment he walked up, he was clearly irritated. He started telling me the car was "broken," that I'd need to tow it, and that it wasn't drivable. I told him I was confused, especially since he was the one who said a part had already been ordered Over the phone. Suddenly, he backtracked and said no part had been ordered and nothing had been done. When I asked what he was confused about, he said "your attitude." I laughed and said some shit back ect. Once he realized I wasn't going to pay for unauthorized work, he tried to haggle me and hold my car until I paid a "storage fee". What a fucking asshole right? He gave me some more bullshit lies then he walked away and brought someone else out. The next guy comes out and tells a completely different story -- that the car was fine and they "fixed it out of the goodness of their heart." So which is it? Completely broken, or magically fixed? Turns out, they fucked up and tried to bully me to pay for their fuck up, by lying over the phone and TO MY FACE. When things didn't add up, and i just kept asking questions they would get really defensive, angry and start gaslighting. In the end, I refused to pay for anything I didn't authorize and only paid for the part and inspection. If you want to "win" with this shop, the best strategy is simple: avoid them entirely.

I called in & spoke to Doug, he arranged my Uber ride back home…read more Shawn Dunn is the service writer that oversaw my overall needs. They repaired my engine rear main seal leak, replaced left & right engine mounts, valve cover gasket replaced, power steering flush & repair, flywheel, clutch & Pressure plate replaced, replaced trans fluid & rear differential fluid, topped off all fluids & test drove the car. The extended warranty insurance barely covered a fraction of the cost, the labor rate is great, I paid for price difference of OEM parts from what the insurance covered for after market parts. All in all my this place parked my car inside & never let up on their follow thru with ins. company. Shawn took pics after all the repair was completed. Car drives wonderful & very "tight" (in a good way). Overall, price point is relatively cheaper than BMW Dealership. Quality & customer service is tops here & I'm going to bring it back for oil changes & whatever comes up. Doug set up an Uber for me & all the staff are very friendly & take time to explain & answer all my questions. Yay! Got a great place to take my 2007 Z4M Convertible (E85 M). Thank you Shawn, Doug, Rebecca & the rest of staff!

They offer a complimentary Uber service for drop off and pick up as well which I thought was really nice. I'll continue to bring my vehicle here for all future service appointments.

I have been using G-vine Automotive for many years, and honestly, I wouldn't want to take my cars anywhere else. They are quick, friendly, and competitively priced. I have to bring my rating down. I had an oil leak for months, which was causing my oil to empty…read moreafter 5000, then 3000 miles. Every time I brought my car in, Scott assured me there was no leak and that my car was simply getting old. So he just changed the oil, and suggested that I brought my car back in every month for more of the same. When I ran out of oil only 1000 miles later, I took my car to Midas, who promptly discovered the leak, and couldn't possibly understand how "the other shop" didn't see it. They botched their first fix, but corrected their mistake when I came back two days later for a routine check, as per their recommendation. I did run out of oil again after driving 1000 miles through the mountains with a clogged catalytic converter and an absolutely packed cargo, but everything seems fine now. I'd been happy with Grapevine Automotive over the years, but this particular incident (along with a handful of other mistakes) makes me question the service I received that entire time. If I still lived in Grapevine, I would no longer have them service my car; therefore, I cannot in good conscience recommend them anymore.
