I wish no stars was an option. THE FLOOR IS PEELING, THIS IS A DISASTER!!! Quentin talked himself up and was very charming but he us NOT CAPABLE of hardwood floor refinishing! He gave us a quote to refinish our wood floors and we gave him a deposit to start the work. There were problems from the start. He left awful vibration marks in every room, did not sand the perimeters, completely missed several areas and had puddles of coating in several areas. There was grit and dirt in the final finish. His third attempt to make it right only made it worse. I agreed to live with the poor quality of work in the 4 bedrooms if he would just make the living room, dining room and hallway look nice. He agreed but wanted his final payment first. Not only is the entire finish peeling but there is still dirt, pudding and two foot prints in the dining room! Also, he used a shinier product in the 3 areas and it's very obvious when you look in the hallway into the bedrooms!! Also he hit every baseboard with the Urathane and every room needs to be sanded and have a heavy duty primer applied. He installed damaged shoe moulding and left large gaps in the joints so ALL THE SHOE MOULDING NEEDS REPLACED and he put it in upside down so it doesn't line up with existing mouldings. You guessed it! He cashed my check and will not return calls. Q's Flooring turned out to be a nightmare!!! I had several other contractors look at because it needs redone. They were all just as disgusted as I am and said he gives other contractors a bad name. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY! He has ended up costing me thousands of dollars to fix his disaster. read more
